Have a Hoot Halloween card

OMG….these owls are adorable!! The Have a Hoot stamp set is quite versatile as you can use it for Halloween and Christmas! This set would also be really great for making tags!
STAMP SET CLING HAVE A HOOT (ENGLISH)

Dimensions: 

  • Pumpkin Pie: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White: 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
  • Designer Paper: 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″

 

Directions

  1. Use the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the Basic Black cardstock.
  2. Cut the shapes out of the black cardstock using the die. (Note: the die cuts out all 3 shapes at the same time)
  3. Use the Chalk Marker to add dots to the top of the black cardstock.
  4. Adhere designer paper to the card, then adhere the black cardstock on top.
  5. Stamp images with Memento Black ink on to Shimmery White cardstock. (Let dry before colouring)
  6. Colour using Stampin’ Blends, then add glitter using Wink of Stella.
  7. Cut out the owl with the pumpkin using the die. “Fussy cut” the other two owls with Paper Snips as the dies would cut off the branches.
  8. Use the spider web die to cut out 2 webs using Vellum cardstock. Adhere to card using Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
  9. Add owls to the card using dimensionals. Adhere moon to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  10. Stamp greetings on to Whisper White cardstock. Use Paper Snips to cut out “Boo”, then add to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add larger greeting to the card using Dimensionals.Product List

Coffee is always a good idea

Happy Thanksgiving stamping friends!!!!

I’ve used the Plaid Tidings designer paper on a few cards for this week and I love it. 🙂 The patterns are so versatile and have a great number of colours in the patterns. The pack has 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ paper and includes these colours: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Cinnamon Cider, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Seaside Spray, Shaded Spruce and Whisper White.

Dimensions: 

  • Crumb Cake: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″  AND  1″ x 3″
  • Soft Suede: 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Plaid Tidings Designer Paper: 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Cherry Cobbler: 3 1/4″ long die

Directions

  1. Stamp the coffee beans on to the card using Crumb Cake ink. To make the colour lighter, I stamped on scrap paper each time first before stamping on to the cardstock.
  2. Adhere the designer paper to the Soft Suede cardstock, then adhere to the card.
  3. Stamp “A cup of thanks” to the 1″ x 3″ Crumb Cake cardstock using Soft Suede ink and use the Banners’ Pick a Punch to cut out the end. Adhere to the card.
  4. Cut out a Cherry Cobbler label using the 3 1/4″ Stitched Label Die. Adhere it to the card.
  5. Stamp the coffee cup and “Coffee is always a good idea” on to scrap Crumb Cake cardstock using Soft Suede ink. Cut out each using Paper Snips.
  6. Stamp the cup on to the Designer Paper. Cut out the middle using Paper Snips, then adhere to the cup. Add cup and steam to the card using dimensionals.
  7. Stamp the heart using Cherry Cobbler ink on to Cherry Cobbler cardstock and cut out using Paper Snip. Adhere to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Product List

Season of Thanks

Happy Friday stamping friends! This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada and with all the COVID rules, I will be celebrating with just my hubby and 3 kids. I hope you are all feeling well and are staying sane with “Everything COVID”.

Thanksgiving is a time of thanks and I want to thank each one of you who come to check out my cards here or on my Facebook page. I really love and appreciate you all! 🙂  Hope you enjoy today’s card!

Measurements:

  • Card Base: Very Vanilla 11 x 4¼ score at 4¼
  • Cardstock #2: Basic Black 5¼ x 4
  • Cardstock #3: Magic In This Night 2½ x 3½
  • Cardstock #4: Very Vanilla 2½ x 3¾
  • Window Sheet: 3 x 3
  • Gold Foil: 4 x ½, 2 x 4

Instructions:

  1. Using Versamark stamp the leaf on to the window sheet.
  2. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
  3. Die cut with the matching die.
  4. Color the back of the leaf using the dark Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’Blends.
  5. Out of the 3 x 4 Gold Foil die cut the small and medium leaves.
  6. Color one with the Pumpkin Pie and one with the Cherry Cobbler dark Stampin’ Blends.
  7. Assemble, Basic Black to the Very Vanilla card base, Very Vanilla 2½ x 3½ at the top and Magic In This Night designer paper at the bottom. Adhere the gold strip in between both of these.
  8. Stamp the greeting using Cajun Craze at the top of the Very Vanilla.
  9. Adhere the leaves with glue dots.
  10. Adhere 3 Wonderful Gems on the gold strips and 3 at the bottom leaves.
  11. Inside stamp the leaf using Cajun Craze ink.

Happy Holidays Poinsettia

Happy Thursday stamping friends! I can’t help but keep sharing these beautiful Poinsettia Petals cards! If you missed the last 2 cards, make sure you check out my last 2 posts.

Today’s card is so soft and elegant in real life, I hope you see it well enough here to do it justice. 🙂

Measurements: 

  • Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11” x 4-1/4”, score and fold at 5-1/2”.
  • Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4” x 4”  AND  2” x ¾”
  • Champagne Foil Sheets 5” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

  1. Glue Whisper White Cardstock layer to Card Base.
  2. Emboss the Champagne Foil Sheets layer using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
  3. Cut the (3) poinsettia flower layers using the Poinsettia Dies and Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Color each layer with Clear Wink Of Stella and layer together using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue to card front positioned at the bottom and centered.
  4. Cut (3) sprigs using the Poinsettia Dies and Whisper White Cardstock. Glue by tucking under the poinsettia flower at the top.
  5. Cut (2) of each holly leaf using the Poinsettia Dies and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Glue by tucking to the underside of the poinsettia flower.
  6. Stamp the sentiment on the small Whisper White Cardstock layer using Coastal Cabana Ink. Trim both ends using the Banners Pick A Punch and glue to card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Cut (1) flower center using the Poinsettia Dies and Whisper White Cardstock. Use a Blender Pen and Coastal Cabana Ink to add dots of ink color to the embossing. Glue to flower center to the poinsettia flower using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Simple Poinsettia

Happy Wednesday stamping friends! Today, I used the Poinsettia Petals stamp set again but decided to make it super simple!

Dimensions

  • Granny Apple Green: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Designer Paper: 3″ x 4 1/4″
  • Stitched Circle: 2 3/8″

Directions

  1. Adhere designer paper to the card.
  2. Wrap the ribbon around the card 3 times, then tie in a knot.
  3. Use the 2 3/8″ Stitched Circle die to cut out a piece of Whisper White. Add to the card using dimensionals.
  4. Stamp poinsettia on to a scrap piece of Whisper White. Stamp the “insides” using Real Red and Granny Apple Green ink, then cut out using the matching die. Add to the card using dimensionals.
  5. Stamp greeting on to the card using Real Red ink.
