Today, I have 2 cards to share. I love the images in the “In the Moment” stamp set and coloured each image with the same colours but wanted to create completely different cards. The “New Horizons” designer paper is so beautiful and I love how you can combine it with so many different products to create pretty creations.
Calypso Coral: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″
Daffodil Delight: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Designer Paper: 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
Shimmery White: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″ (die) and 1 3/8″ x 2″
Stamp the image on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento black ink. Cut it out using the 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″ die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Colour the image using Stampin’ Blends.
Cut out a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock using the 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″ from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Adhere Designer Paper to the Daffodil Delight cardstock, add a piece of ribbon on top and adhere the ends to the back. Adhere the layers to the card.
Stamp the greeting on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento black ink.
Adhere remaining layers to card. Use Dimensionals for the greeting layer.
Polished Pink: scrap large enough for second largest arch
Highland Heather: scrap for second smallest arch, and 2” x 2” for circle
Pool Party: scrap for smallest arch
Score the long piece of Basic White cardstock at 5-1/2″. Fold in half, and use your Bone Folder to create a sharp crease.
Use your die cutting machine and the die with the four large arches to cut the arches into the bottom left corner of your 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of cardstock. Be sure to leave a border around the two sides so that the rainbow doesn’t go right to the edge.
Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the die cut cardstock. Cut thin pieces from the edges of the Mini Stampin’ Dimensional sheet and attach them to the thin curved pieces between the arches. Adhere this layer to the card front.
Die cut each of the arches from the coloured cardstock. Use Stampin’ Seal to glue these arches to the cardstock base. Refer to the photo for placement of each colour.
Use Versamark ink to stamp the phrase onto the square of Highland Heather cardstock. Cover with white embossing powder, and shake off the excess. Heat using your Heat Tool until all of the powder has melted and is glossy.
Die cut the phrase with the large circle on the Picture This circles die. Adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Ink up Every Chapter stamp with white craft ink and press onto chalkboard, being careful not to rock side to side. Cover wet ink with white embossing powder, shake or brush off excess powder with small, dry paintbrush and heat to set the powder.
Wrap 18” of ribbon around on the left side of chalkboard and tie in a knot. Wrap the 24” piece of ribbon into 3 loops (around 3-4 fingers). Lay on knotted ribbon and tie.
Add loose flower to book with mini glue dot. Add silver pearl to center of flower.
