Hand Stamped Cards with Josee Smuck-Stampin' Up! Canada Demonstrator

The FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set Delicate Dahlias is fun to play stamp with! I wanted to create a fun background but I couldn’t decide which I liked better so I thought I’d share both. The first one uses Basic White cardstock and the second one uses Watercolor Paper.

CARD 1
– Basic White Cardstock

Dimensions

• Polished Pink: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions:

1. Ink up the bold flower stamp with Polished Pink ink, stamp it randomly on the Basic White cardstock.
2. Stamp the outline flowers on top of the bold flowers.
3. Tap the Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend so that ink spots splatter on the cardstock.
4. Adhere the cardstock to the Basic Black layer.
5. Adhere the ribbon ends to the back of the 2 layers. Make a bow with another piece of ribbon and add it to the card using a Glue Dot.
6. Adhere the 2 layers to the card base.
7. Cut out the label for the greeting using the die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.
8. Stamp “happy” at the top of the label using Polished Pink ink and “BIRTHDAY” using the Memento ink pad. Add the greeting to the card using Dimensionals.
9. Ink the little bold flower with Polished Pink, stamp it on scrap paper, then on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
10. Stamp the outline of the flower on top of the bold image. Cut out the flower using Paper Snips.
11. Add the flower to the card using Dimensionals.
12. Colour the Pearl with the Dark Stampin’ Blend, then add it to the middle of the flower.
13. Add shimmer to the small flower using Wink of Stella.

CARD 2
– Watercolor Paper

Dimensions

• Polished Pink: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Watercolor Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions:

1. Ink up the bold flower stamp with Polished Pink ink, stamp it randomly on the Watercolor Paper.
2. Use the Stampin’ Spritzer to spray water on the flowers. Let dry completely.
3. Stamp the outline flowers on top of the bold flowers.
4. Tap the Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend so that ink spots splatter on the cardstock.
5. Adhere the cardstock to the Basic Black layer.
