Tis the Season

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼” and ¾” x 2 ½” for sentiment
  • Soft Succulent: 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Evening Evergreen: 3” x 3” for scalloped circle
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3 ¾” x 5” and 3” x 3” for circle

Instructions:

  1. Attach DSP to Soft Succulent cardstock with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.
  2. Tie Evening Evergreen ribbon into a knot around the Soft Succulent and DSP layer and attach to card base with same adhesive.
  3. Tie Linen Thread into a double bow around the knot.
  4. Cut scalloped circle and trees from Evening Evergreen cardstock with Layering Circles Dies and Cabin Dies.
  5. Cut smaller circle from DSP with the Layering Circles Dies.
  6. Attach the Designer Series Paper circle to scalloped circle with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive then attach entire piece to card base above the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Attach trees to circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.
  8. Stamp sentiment with Memento ink then cut around it with paper snips and attach it with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional on one end and a Mini Glue Dot on the other.

Merry & Bright

Here’s a fun project showcasing the Bright Baubles stamp set which is on the Last Chance Products List.

Dimensions

  • Granny Apple Green: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
  • Evening Evergreen: 5 ¼” x 4″, 1 ¾” x 3 ¾” and ¾” x 3 ¼”
  • Crumb Cake: 5″ x 3 ¾”
  • Designer Series Paper: 1 ½” x 3 ¾”
  • Basic White ½” x 3 ½”

 Instructions:

  1. Fold the Granny Apple Green cardstock for the card base.
  2. Adhere the Evening Evergreen layer to the card base.
  3. Emboss the Crumb Cake Layer with the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder and adhere on top of the Evening Evergreen layer.
  4. Adhere the DSP to the Evening Evergreen small layer, then adhere to the top area of your card as shown.
  5. Using the Delicate Baubles Dies, cut out a solid bauble using Evening Evergreen cardstock and an intricate bauble using Granny Apple Green cardstock and adhere the two together.
  6. Adhere the bauble to the card using dimensionals.
  7. Stamp the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White strip, then adhere to the Evening Evergreen strip, adhere entire piece to the card with dimensionals.
  8. Make a bow with the simply elegant trip and adhere to the top of the bauble using a glue dot.
  9. Embellish the center of the stars on the bauble with the Champagne Rhinestones.

Santa Paws

What I like about this card is that it can easily be duplicated with any designer paper scraps you have! I love the look of the cat poking out of the paper. He was a lot of fun to colour and I added some Wink of Stella to make it extra sparkly!

Dimensions: 

  • Cherry Cobbler: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: (3 qty)  1″ x 3″

Directions:

  1. Cut the Designer Paper to a 3″ width. Next, cut 3- one inch pieces. (Cutting it this way will ensure that the pattern continues from one piece to another.) Adhere the pieces to the Basic White layer approx. 1/4″ apart.
  2. Stamp the greeting under the designer paper using Cherry Cobbler ink.
  3. Adhere the Basic White layer to the Cherry Cobbler card base.
  4. Stamp the cat and the Santa hat on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento Black ink.
  5. Colour the cat & hat using Stampin’ Blends.
  6. Cut out the cat & hat using the matching dies.
  7. Add the cat & hat to the card using Dimensionals.
  8. Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to add glue to the white parts of the hat. Let dry.
  9. Use the Wink of Stella to add shimmer to the red part of the hat.

Dimensions

  • Balmy Blue: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pear Pizzazz: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Shimmery White: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Cut a piece of scrap cardstock to the same size as the Shimmery White cardstock (3 3/4″ x 5″) to use for the template.  I used Very Vanilla Cardstock, but it doesn’t matter which colour.
  2. Use the largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies to cut out a circle in the template.
  3. Place the template on top of the Shimmery White Cardstock and either keep pressure so it doesn’t move or use Washi Tape to keep it in place. Use Blending Brushes to pick up colour from the ink pads and add colour in the circle.
  4. Use a Water Painter or a small wet paint brush to drop water droplets on top of the coloured circle. Let dry.
  5. Stamp the flower and the greeting using Memento ink.
  6. Add Black Drops.
  7. Adhere the layers together.

Happy Birthday

Measurements: 

  • Mint Macaron: 4-1/4” x 11, scored at 5-1/2” and folded in half
  • Polished Pink: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Whimsy & Wonder Specialty 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Whimsy & Wonder Specialty 2-3/8” x 5-1/8”
  •  Mint Macaron: 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” for die cut stitched rectangle
  • Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper: 2-3/4” x 4-1/8” for die cut stitched rectangle
  • Polished Pink: 3-1/4” x 3/8”
  • Scrap of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) for stamping and fussy cutting

Instructions:

  1. Adhere the striped DSP to the Mint Macaron patterned DSP, then adhere the DSP layer to the Polished Pink Cardstock.
  2. Adhere the Polished Pink Cardstock layer to the Mint Macaron card base.
  3. Die cut the fourth largest rectangle from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Stamp the images in Memento ink.
  4. Colour the image by pressing the closed ink pads together gently to get some ink on the lid. Use the Water Painters to add colour to the image being careful not to squeeze too much water into the brush.
    (Presents: Mint Macaron, Polished Pink, Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight / Arms & Legs: Petal Pink / Shoes: Crumb Cake)
  5. Stamp the skirt image on a scrap of the striped Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP, fussy-cut around the lines of the image and adhere over the image on the watercolor paper with liquid glue.
  6. Die cut the third largest rectangle from Mint Macaron Cardstock and adhere the watercolor paper rectangle with liquid glue. Adhere the layered stitched rectangles to the card front with Stampin’ Dmensionals.
  7. Stamp the sentiment in Momento ink on the strip of Polished Pink Cardstock and banner punch both ends using the Tailored Tag Punch. Adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Tie a bow using the Soft Succulent ribbon and adhere to the card with a Mini Glue Dot
  9. Add three Polished Pink jewels to the card front as shown.
