Easter Friends

If you like to send out Easter cards, you are going to love the Easter Friends stamp set!!!

Measurements: 

  • Basic White 4-1/2″ x 11″, scored & folded at 5-1/2″
  • Basic White 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4”
  • Vellum 3/4″ x 4″
  • Fresh Freesia gingham (Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper): 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Fresh Freesia plaid (In Colors DSP): 2″ x 4-3/4″
  • Fresh Freesia plaid (In Colors DSP): 3/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Small pansy and leaves (Pansy Petals DSP): approx. 2″ x 4″

 Instructions:

  1. Adhere gingham print Designer Paper to card base.
  2. Adhere 4-3/4″ strip of glittered ribbon to plaid print Designer Paper, then adhere plaid to card base.
  3. Stamp bunny in Basic Gray on Basic White and die cut with second largest stitched scallop die. Adhere to card with mini dimensionals.
  4. Use the Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend to colour the 1/4″ seam binding. Tie a tiny bow and adhere to bunny’s head.
  5. Heat emboss greeting with black embossing powder on Vellum Cardstock. Cut banner end.
  6. Cut a small pansy and two leaves from Designer Paper and attach to upper right side of vellum with mini dimensionals. Add more dimensionals under pansy side of vellum for attaching to card.
  7. Place one mini dimensional on lower left of vellum and add a large Opal Round to cover it. Attach vellum greeting to card.
  8. Add two more Opal Rounds at upper right of card.
  9. Adhere Pansy Petals Designer Paper to bottom inside of card and stamp greeting.

Depths of my Heart

The Seas The Day stamp set is making me wish that I could go see some real underwater creatures! This winter has been so cold and long, I am looking to Spring and Summer!!!

Dimensions

  • Balmy Blue: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″
  • Misty Moonlight: 4″ x 5 1/2″

Directions

  1. Use the die to cut out the shape from the Misty Moonlight cardstock.
  2. Adhere the designer paper to the back of the Misty Moonlight. Adhere both to the Balmy Blue card base.
  3. Stamp the octopus with Flirty Flamingo ink. Stamp 2 star fish; one with Bumblebee ink and the other with Daffodil Delight ink.
  4. Ink up the 2 fish with Balmy Blue ink, then pick up some Misty Moonlight ink with a dauber to add some colour to the fish before stamping on the Basic White cardstock.
  5. Cut out all the images using their matching dies.
  6. Use the die to cut out the sprigs with Basic White cardstock.
  7. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Balmy Blue ink. Use Paper Snips to cut around the greeting.
  8. Adhere all images to the card. I used dimensional behind the greeting and behind the fish on the right.
  9. Add Wink of Stella to both of the star fish.
  10. Add the Opal Rounds.

Rain or Shine Pocket Card

It’s getting close to rainboot weather and I have to say that I cannot wait! The amount of snow that we’ve had this winter and the cold weather is getting really tiring!!! I cannot wait for spring!

Dimensions

– Outside of card-

  • Just Jade: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 1 3/4″ and 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 3 1/2″ x 4″  and  1″ x 4″
  • Basic White: 5/8″ x 2 1/2″

-Inside of card-

  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Blushing Bride: 1″ circle

 

Directions

-Outside of card-

  1. Cut the cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″, the score at 1 3/4″ and 4 1/4″. Fold in half to create a pocket, then fold the flap forward.
  2. Adhere the 2 Designer Papers to the card.
  3. Adhere the flap down. Wrap the ribbon around the flap and tie it in a knot.
  4. Stamp the boots with Smoky Slate ink, the stems with Just Jade ink and the tulips with Blushing Bride ink on scrap Basic White cardstock.
  5. Cut out the shapes using their matching dies. Add them to the card using Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp the greeting on the Basic White cardstock using Just Jade ink. Adhere it to the card and tuck the left hand side of the greeting a bit below the boots.

-Inside of card-

  1. Stamp the boots on the Basic White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink.
  2. Stamp the greeting using Just Jade ink.
  3. Cut out a 1″ circle using the die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Fold it in half and adhere it to the top of the inside piece.

A Little Paradise

Measurements: 

  • Basic Black: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, Score at 4-1/4” and fold in half. Also need a piece of scrap to die cut palm tree.
  • Mango Medley: 5-1/4” x 4”
  • Basic White: 5” x 3-3/4” (front) 5-1/4” x 4” (inside) plus 4” x 4” to color with blending brushes.

Instructions:

  1. Attach the Mango Melody cardstock onto your Basic Black Cardbase.
  2. Using 4” x 4” piece of white and a Blending Brush, apply Daffodil Delight to the center of your card and brush out all the way to each edge.
  3. Repeat the application of color using Mango Medley to the top portion of the card (edge to edge) and blend down into the Daffodil Delight.
  4. Repeat the application of color using Coastal Cabana to the bottom portion of the card (edge to edge) and blend up into the Daffodil Delight.
  5. When your cardstock is fully covered with ink, die cut using the circle die.
  6. Die cut large palm tree out of the scrap piece of Basic Black.
  7. Attach the circle in the upper / center section of the Whisper White.
  8. Stamp greeting with Memento Ink onto Basic White on the left hand side.
  9. Take this assembly and using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  10. Secure die cut Palm onto front of card with a Mini Dimensional on top and adhesive on the bottom.
  11. Attach cardfront assembly to the base of your card and the 5-1/4” x 4” Basic White to the inside of your card.
