Good Morning,

Thanks for stopping by today. I had a little fun breaking out the Blendabilities to colour this one. These guys really make me laugh- I love the expressions on their faces 🙂

I stamped the image on Whisper White with the Memento ink and went to town colouring it all in. I used the Scallop Circle punch cut in half to create the clouds 🙂 I just adhered the punch outs onto the sky, but you could also use the punchouts as masks while you are colouring.

The super cute pink patterned paper is from the Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper that you can for FREE with your Sale-A-Bration order!

I used the border die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits on the side of the patterned paper and then used the Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine to create a stitched up border. The sentiment was stamped and cut using the Word Bubbles Framelits die and then finished it off with a bow created using the Bow Builder Punch.

It has me wishing for Spring even more but I think it's going to look wonderful in my newly redecorated office. Washi Stripes

Welcome back! Before I show you today's card, I wanted to share some FANTASTIC news with you!!

I will show you those products in full here on the blog on Friday 🙂 but if you would like a sneak peek, check out my Facebook page this week as I will be sharing some sneak peeks there!

Today I've got a simple card to share with you using washi tape! As I mentioned here last week, this was the card I started to make, that completely morphed into last week's card! This card also ended up in a bit of a different direction then planned, but that's what getting creative is all about!!

I used the Stacked With Love Washi Tape and a strip of the Calypso Coral washi sheet from the Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets as a background on the Whisper White layer- also adding some texture with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder . I actually did not run the embossing folder through the Big Shot- since it would not have fit properly through the rollers with the angle I wanted to emboss at- and I only wanted to emboss the corners- I just pressed on the folder with my hands. It did not leave as deep an impression as the Big Shot would, but it gave me the texture I needed.

Then I stamped the Painted Petals- stamping off to lighten them a bit- and Best Day Ever sentiment with Whisper White ink on the Blackboard Paper cut with the Deco Labels Framelits die, then adhered that to the doily and added a little flower embellishment both from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. I really liked how this washi card turned out.

Cheerful Critters

Good Morning! Happy Friday!

I've got a cute card to share with you today!

It's a simple, but simply cute card! The little heart stamp from Best Day Ever fits perfectly in the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and I couldn't help adding a little belt to the bunny's oufit with the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim.

Here are the supplies I used on this card:

Measurements:

Melon Mambo: 5.5”x8.5”
Whisper White: 5”x3.75”, plus some for die cutting

Instructions:

Cut card base from Melon Mambo, cut base layer from Whisper White
Emboss Whisper White with Happy Heart embossing folder, then stamp ‘heart’ stamp from Best Day ever inside random embossed hearts; adhere to card base
Stamp bunny from Cheerful Critters and sentiment on Whisper White; use Oval Framelit to die cut
Die cut Bermuda Bay washi sheet with the next size oval to mat the stamped Whisper White oval
Color the bunny stamped image using Blendabilities
Trim the bottom of both ovals where the stamped image ends
Adhere the washi oval and stamped oval on to the embossed base layer
Cut a small section of Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim to create a little belt for the bunny’s outfit

I found another great way to use the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim and I can't wait to show you that card next week!
