Hello! Happy Friday!

Thanks for stopping by! You'll be glad you did, as I have a gorgeous card to share today! 🙂 This card uses a Hostess stamp set called 'Best Thoughts'- you can purchase this stamp set when you host a workshop with sales over $200 or make a purchase over $200!

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Best Thoughts #139234 – wood #138700 – clear
Inks: StazOn Black #101406, Bermuda Bay #131171, Cucumber Crush #138324
Paper: Bermuda Bay #131197, Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack #138435, Watercolor Paper #122959, Basic Black #121045.

Measurements:

Card Base: Bermuda Bay 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2 – Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack 4 x 5-1/4.

Art Piece: Watercolor paper 3-1/2 x 4-3/4, Basic Black Mat 3-5/8 x 4-7/8

Instructions:

Stamp the image and the sentiment in StazOn Black ink on the watercolor paper.
Squeeze your aqua painter until a drop of water comes out then use the brush tip to wet the flower.
While the flower is wet, add the Bermuda Bay ink from the inkpad lid with your aqua painter.

TIP – I like to do one layer, with a little white showing, then a second layer in the shadow areas.

Once the flower is dry, wet the leaves in the same manner and add the Cucumber Crush ink using the same technique.
Let the art piece dry – or dry it with your heat tool.

TIP – if you dry it with the heat tool, it will curl, turn it over and heat the backside, it will flatten out again for you.

Use the Fast Fuse Adhesive to attach the designer paper to the card front.
Use the Fast Fuse Adhesive to attach the art piece to the mat and then to the card front to complete the card.

Good Morning!

Thanks for stopping by today! I've got a cute summer card for you today! There is just something about ice cream and the fun colours/designs of the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper that just screams SUMMER!

I used one of the NEW In-Colors: Watermelon Wonder for the card base, then layered a lace doily and some Cherry On Top Washi tape. I used the NEW Banner Triple punch to create the Whisper White banner and of course I used the NEW Tree Builder punch and Sprinkles of Life stamp set to create the ice cream with the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper. The cone itself was stamped in the NEW In Color: Tip Top Taupe.

Using dimensionals on the ice cream punch outs really gives it a punch! 🙂 Of course the sentiment, from Sprinkles of Life, was stamped, then washi tape added and then punched out with the circle punch and layered with the scallop circle punch!

Good Morning!

Thanks for stopping by today! I wanted to show you two new products you may not have noticed in the NEW 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue: the Corrugated Paper in Kraft & White and the Whisper White Thick cardstock!

You're So Sweet, Flower Fair corrugated flower- stampingjo

The card base is a super sturdy one using the NEW Thick Whisper White cardstock- which is especially perfect for the Corrugated paper layer! Although the corrugated paper is quite light, it really stands up nicely on the thicker 100lb cardstock.

I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit to cut out the label from the Corrugated paper, and then stamped and cut the 'Just For You' from You're So Sweet on regular Whisper White cardstock and inserted it into the corrugated cut out and adhered both pieces to the Thick cardstock.

Then, I used the Flower Fair Thinlits to cut some Melon Mambo and Always Artichoke cardstock to create the flower and leaves. I embossed the middle flower layer with the NEW Elegant Dots Textured Embossing Folder and the leaves were embossed with the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder. Everything was added to the Corrugated paper layer with dimensionals.

To finish off the flower, I added a NEW Metal Rimmed Pearl to the center 🙂

World’s Greatest Husband

Hello! Happy Friday!!

Welcome back! As promised here is another Father's Day card idea, just in time for this weekend 🙂

Supplies Used:

Measurements:

Basic Black Card Base: 4 ¼ x 11
Very Vanilla insert for inside of card: 4 x 5 ¼
Gold Foil: 3 3/8 x 4 5/8
Striped DSP: 3 ¾ x 5
Striped DSP for inside: ¾ x 4 ¼
Scraps of Vanilla for the car and the banner

Instructions:

Stamp Banner, Car and Husband (or other word) on the 3 ¾ x 5 piece.
Stamp Banner and Car on scraps. Color car and cut out. I didn’t cut the wheels out just the body of the car. Attach to the stamped image with dimensionals. Cut banner out and attach with dimensionals as well.
Color Rhinestones with Black Sharpie and add to card (wait for them to dry)
Assemble Card.
Attach the striped mat to the Black Card Base
Attach the image piece to the Gold Piece and attach to card using dimensionals.
Add strip of striped dsp to the inside bottom of the card

Good Morning!

Have you got a graduate to celebrate this month? Check out this quick and easy card!

Here are the supplies used on this card:

Measurements:

Whisper White cardstock scrap 3” x 3”, 4” x 5 ¼ for the inside of the card.
Smoky Slate cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½”
Basic Black cardstock 1” strip to angle cut into mortar board
Gold Vellum 4” x 5 ¼”
Gold Foil scrap to cut tassel
Gold Twine – 3”

Instructions:

Stamp the balloon image in Crushed Curry ink on the Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp the words “Happy” and “graduation” in Tuxedo Black ink.
Cut out the balloon shape with the Balloon Framelits in the Big Shot.
To make the mortar board place the 1” strip of black cardstock in the Stampin' Trimmer at an angle – so that the edge is lined up with the diagonal on the grid boxes printed on the trimmer, and cut it. Then slide it over an inch and repeated..
Using the tassel framelit from the Balloon Framelits, cut a tassel from the Gold Foil Sheets.
Attach the polka dot Gold Vellum to the Smoky Slate card base by putting a small amount of adhesive behind each gold polka dot so that the adhesive does not show through to the front of the card..
Attach the Gold Twine to the back of the balloon shape with a dimensional.
Attach the balloon to the card with dimensionals.
Attach the grad hat to the card with a dimensional.
Attach the tassel to the hat with adhesive.
