Happy Graduation!

Good Morning! 

Have you got a graduate to celebrate this month? Check out this quick and easy card!

Here are the supplies used on this card:

    

Measurements:  

• Whisper White cardstock scrap 3” x 3”, 4” x 5 ¼  for the inside of the card.
• Smoky Slate cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½”
• Basic Black cardstock 1” strip to angle cut into mortar board
• Gold Vellum 4” x 5 ¼”
• Gold Foil scrap to cut tassel
• Gold Twine – 3”

Instructions:

1. Stamp the balloon image in Crushed Curry ink on the Whisper White cardstock.
2. Stamp the words “Happy” and “graduation” in Tuxedo Black ink.
3. Cut out the balloon shape with the Balloon Framelits in the Big Shot.
4. To make the mortar board place the 1” strip of black cardstock in the Stampin' Trimmer at an angle – so that the edge is lined up with the diagonal on the grid boxes printed on the trimmer, and cut it.  Then slide it over an inch and repeated..
5. Using the tassel framelit from the Balloon Framelits, cut a tassel from the Gold Foil Sheets.
6. Attach the polka dot Gold Vellum to the Smoky Slate card base by putting a small amount of adhesive behind each gold polka dot so that the adhesive does not show through to the front of the card..
7. Attach the Gold Twine to the back of the balloon shape with a dimensional.
8. Attach the balloon to the card with dimensionals.
9. Attach the grad hat to the card with a dimensional.
10. Attach the tassel to the hat with adhesive.
