The Sky Is the Limit

Hello!

I hope you are enjoying a little milder winter like we are here. It had been super cold, like freeze your fingers off cold and well, it's still cold. lol! Just no frostbite warnings! I'll take what I can get! After the mild start we had to this winter, I guess I can't really complain- it was bound to happen! 🙂

Hopefully today's card adds a little 'sunshine' to your day 🙂 I've got another look at the LIMITED TIME Sale-A-Bration freebie: Sky Is the Limit!

The Sky is the Limit by StampingJO, masculine, handmade card, Sunburst Thinlits Die, Window Sheet, Heat embossing I decided to try something a little different, I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Window Sheet with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder! I had to do it very carefully and not for too long so I wouldn't melt the window sheet! I did make a little mistake- I already had it stapled to the card and I melted a small bit of the Gold Metallic Thread that I have layered underneath! oops! Lesson learned- the metallic thread can melt too!

The Sunburst Thinlit die makes a great background for the airplane from Sky Is the Limit too!

Sweet Valentine Fry Box Gift Idea

Hello! Happy Friday!

Today's project is another cute Valentine gift idea! It uses the Sale-A-Bration stamp set: Honeycomb Happiness. I love these Fry Boxes for little treats, or a even a little jewelry wrapped up in tissue paper! 🙂

How To Make It:

Die-cut Mossy Meadow or Blushing Bride card stock with the Fry Box Bigz Die.
Lay Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper over the larger side of the Fry Box Die & run through the Big Shot.
Fold box on all score lines, then adhere the Designer Series Paper insert to the inside back of the box. Re-crease the folds under the paper with a Bone Folder. Adhere side tabs with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Stamp the Honeycomb Happiness sentiment in either Mossy Meadow or Bermuda Bay onto Whisper White card stock, then punch with the Label Bracket Punch.
Punch Decorative Label Punch shape from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.
Adhere both layers to the box with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Tie a 1/4” Whisper White Cotton Ribbon bow & attach with Glue Dot.
Add a few Pearl Jewels to the bottom of the label.
Fill the box with chocolates, or whatever you like for a quick & cute Valentine’s Treat!

4” x 5-1/4” Birthday Bouquet DSP insert

A Nice Cuppa Tea-riffic card

Good Morning!

I've got a Tea-riffic card to show you today! This one uses the NEW A Nice Cuppa stamp set and matching Cups & Kettle Framelits! So cute!

How to Make It:

Fold an 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Whisper White cardstock in half to create card base. Add a layer of Whisper White cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4 – use a dimensional in each corner.
Attach a quarter of a tea lace doily and layer it with two small strips of paper from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack – measuring 1/4" x 4". Use the hexagon punch a 'banner' edge to the end of the strips
On Whisper White cardstock, stamp the tea cup and the little tea bag tag. Cut these pieces out with the Cups & Kettle framelits and your Big Shot.
Stamp the “You are Tea-riffic” on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Bermuda Bay ink, and punch with the 1 1/4" Circle punch, then stamp the heart with Melon Mambo ink. Position this onto the tea cup with a dimensional.
Use a glue dot to attach a Whisper White baker’s twine to the tea bag tag and staple with the hand held stapler.
Attach this to the back of the tea cup with a glue dot. Adhere the tea cup to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut three of the heart shaped “steam” pieces out of Vellum cardstock with the framelits and attach to card front with glue dots.
Add a rhinestone to the tea bag tag.

Bloomin’ Love Valentine Gift Bag

It is almost that time! Valentine's day is coming soon!! Today I've got this cute gift bag idea to share!

How to Make It:

Stamp the heart in Blushing Bride ink on Whisper White paper.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink and heat emboss it in Gold.
Cut out the sentiment using the Lots of Labels Framelits & punch a hole in the top for the ribbon.
Punch out and assemble gold bow using the Bow Builder Punch. Adhere with Glue Dots.
Make a banner using the Banner Triple Punch. Adhere banner to the back of the Whisper White paper with Snail Adhesive.
Stamp Petite Café Bag with Versamark.
Layer and assemble.
