Rock n Roll Water Spritzed Flowers

This is a very simple card with a twist! I used the Rich Razzleberry ink pad, stamped off the cardstock, added ink only on the edges by rocking the stamp on the ink pad, then used a Stampin’ Spritzer with water to spritz the stamp 2-3 times before stamping the paper. (see picture tutorial below)

Your Friendship Means the World

I had a little fun with a punch for this card. I found a similar card made by another demonstrator Mary Fish and was inspired to change it up and make one like it using different stamps and designer papers.

Dimensions

  • Mint Macaron: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Soft Sea Foam: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Very Vanilla: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Adhere the Soft Sea Foam layer to the card base.
  2. Use the Tailored Tag Punch to punch out 13 shapes.
  3. Stamp the greeting on Very Vanilla cardstock using Mint Macaron ink, then punch out using the Tailored Tag Punch. Add to the Very Vanilla cardstock using Dimensionals.
  4. Place the 13 designer paper shapes in a pattern around the greeting. Adhere with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. Trim the shapes so they don’t overhang the Very Vanilla cardstock then adhere to card.
  5. Stamp flowers on Very Vanilla cardstock using Versamark ink. Sprinkle on Gold Embossing Powder, tap off the excess and heat emboss using a Heat Tool.
  6. Press the lid of the Mint Macaron ink pad into the bottom and use the ink with a Water Painter to add colour to the flowers.
  7. Cut out flowers with Snips and add to card using dimensionals.

2020-21 Stampin’ Up! Colour Chart

Happy Saturday Stamping Friends!! 🙂 Today, I thought I’d share a handy printable colour chart.

Stampin’ Up! colours are a big part of the reason that I joined as a demonstrator in 2002! I loved the idea of being able to create with products that all match and coordinate.

Before Stampin’ Up!, I was a scrapbooker and always had issues to find colours that matched for my scrapbook pages. With 50 different colours (and 3 basics) Stampin’ Up! makes it super easy! I can easily reach for one of my In Color Cardstocks and then use the matching ink pad, ribbon, Stampin’ Blends and Designer Papers to create a fabulous project without thinking whether the colours will go together.

Beautiful Moments Butterflies

I had fun making this card just a little different than my normal cards.

Directions:

  1. I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4″ x 10 1/2″, then scored it at 5 1/4″.
  2. I stamped the images about 3/4″ from the edge, then cut the edge with Paper Snips.
  3. Adhere the 1 3/4″ designer paper to the 2″ piece of Magenta Madness cardstock and adhere both to the front of the card.
  4. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the card and tie in a bow.
  5. Colour the image with Stampin’ Blends.
  6. Stamp the butterflies on the right side of the inside of the card.
  7. Adhere Whisper White to the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Magenta Madness cardstock.

Country Home Hello

I got the idea for making this card from Sue Prather HERE. I love the way she coloured so much, that I had to try it myself!! I tried to use the Night of Navy Blends to colour the pitcher, but I think mine are darker or something as I did not like how dark they were. I chose to use the Balmy Blue Blend markers and love how it turned out.
