Hi Stampers,
So far, this is the favourite card I’ve made using the

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents stamp set.

It took quite a while to colour, but, I think it was so worth it.


Dimensions

  • Rococo Rose: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Smoky Slate: 2 3/8″ x 4 3/4″

  • Paper:  Rococo Rose (150882); Smoky Slate (131202); Whisper White (**); Shimmery White (101910)
  • Ink: Memento (132708); Rococo Rose (150080)
  • Stampin’ Blends:  Rich Razzleberry (154898); Highland Heather (154887); Rococo Rose (154900); Smoky Slate (154904); Granny Apple Green (154885); Just Jade (1531 07); Old Olive (154892)
  • Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss (149653); Stitched Rectangle Dies (151820); Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718); Chalk Marker (132133); From My Heart Faceted Gems (151154); Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110775)

Directions

  1. Stamp flowers on the Rococo Rose cardstock using the matching ink pad.
  2. Stamp the greeting using Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out using the tag die.
  3. Use the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the Smoky Slate cardstock, then cut out using the 2 3/8″ x 4 3/4″ Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to the card.
  4. Stamp the flowers and the pot on Shimmery White cardstock.
  5. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour. Cut out using the coordinating dies. Add highlights using the Chalk Marker.
  6. Adhere the pot to the card using Multipurpose Glue and use Dimensionals to add the pot, flowers and greeting to the card.
  7. Add From My Heart Faceted Gems on to the card.

Pretty Florals

Dimensions

  • Rich Razzleberry: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Rococo Rose: 1 1/2″  x 4″

Directions

  1. Stamp flowers on the Rococo Rose cardstock using the matching ink pad. Adhere to the Whisper White layer.
  2. Wrap a piece of twine around the layers 3 times and tie ends into a bow. Adhere to the card.
  3. Stamp the greeting using Whisper White ink on Basic Black cardstock. Cut out using the tag die.
  4. Stamp the flowers and the pot on Shimmery White cardstock.
  5. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour. Cut out using the coordinating dies.
  6. Cut out the leaves using Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
  7. Use dimensionals to add the pot and flowers to the card and Multipurpose Glue for the greeting and leaves.

I’ve been creating with some new stamp sets and I am OBSESSED with this stamp set! Simply Succulents is a very versatile stamp set and though most succulents are green, I loved playing around with different colours for my cards!

Dimensions

  • Soft Sea Foam: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Oh So Ombre DSP: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/8″

Directions

  1. Adhere the Basic Black and Whisper White layers to the card.
  2. Use the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the Oh So Ombre DSP, then adhere it to the card.
  3. Stamp the greeting onto a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock with Memento ink then cut out using the die.
  4. Stamp the flowers twice on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock. Colour one of the flower bunches using Stampin’ Blends (you don’t have to colour the large flower). Colour just the large flower from the 2nd stamp images. Cut out the large flower using Paper Snips. Add the large flower to the flower bunch using dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the vase on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento ink. Colour using Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends.
  6. Wrap a piece of white twine around the vase 3 times and tie ends into a bow. (Tip: you can tape the twine on the back of the vase so that it stays in place.)
  7. Add vase and flowers to the card using Dimensionals.
  8. Add the greeting to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Oh Snap Birthday Card

The Crocodile “Oh Snap” stamp set is adorable! It’s a great set for silly cards and of course perfect for kids!

Supplies

  • Paper: Pear Pizzazz (131201); Basic Black (121045); Whisper White (**); Old Olive; Watercolor Paper
  • Ink: Memento (132708); Old Olive (100702); Pear Pizzazz (131201)
  • Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss (149653); Stitched Rectangle Dies (151820); Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718); Resin Hearts (154578); Water Painters (151298); Stamparatus (146276); Paper Snips (103579); Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110775)

Dimensions

  • Pear Pizzazz: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″  AND  2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
  • Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Old Olive: 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Whisper White: 3″ Stitched Circle

Directions

  1. Adhere Basic Black cardstock to the card.
  2. Stamp the greeting on the Old Olive cardstock using Old Olive ink and the leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink. Adhere to the card.
  3. Stamp waves on to the Pear Pizzazz cardstock using matching ink. Stamp the wave 3 times in a row on cardstock before re-inking to create 3 different shades of the colour. Adhere to the card.
  4. Take a piece of Watercolor Paper and randomly colour it using Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive ink using a Water Painter. Let dry.
  5. Use the Stamparatus to stamp the crocodile onto the Watercolor Paper with Memento ink. Stamping with the Stamparatus will allow you to continue to stamp until you have a dark enough image of the crocodile.
  6. Fussy cut (hand-cut) the crocodile using Paper Snips.
  7. Run the crocodile through  the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture.
  8. Cut out a 3″  Whisper White  Stitched Circle using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss.
  9. Place the crocodile on top of the circle for positioning and stamp the greeting with Old Olive ink and the fish with Memento ink. Adhere circle to the card.
  10. Add the crocodile to the card using Dimensionals.
  11. Add a white Resin Heart beside the greeting.
