Bring On Christmas

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick CS: 4-1/4” x11”; scored at 5-1/2”
  • Sweet Stockings DSP:1” x 4-1/4”
  • Basic White CS: ¾” x 4-1/4”; 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”; 1” x 3”
  • Cherry Cobbler CS: 3” x 4-1/4”

Instructions:

  1. EmbossCherry Cobbler CS with the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder. Adhere to the card base.
  2. Die-cut Basic White CS with the scallop edge die using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  3. Adhere Basic White scallop die cut behind Sweet Stockings DSP then to the card front.
  4. Stamp ‘cake’ image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece Basic White CS. Use Daffodil, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler Blends to colour the image. Die-cut with largest Laying Circle die and adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp ‘cake stand’ and ‘heart’ using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on remaining scrap of Basic White CS. Colour with Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler Blends.  Use a scissor to fussy cut and adhere to Layered Circle as shown.
  6. Embellish ‘holly’ with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and attach a Real Red 3/8” ribbon with a glue dot.
  7. Use Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp sentiment of choice in the lower-left corner.

Cute Halloween card

The benefit of having beautiful designer paper is that you can make cute cards in a jiffy! The paper has adorable little characters that can be punched out using the coordinating punch!

Measurements: 

  • Old Olive: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded & scored at 4 ¼”
  • Basic Black: 5 ¼” x 3”
  • Pumpkin Pie: 5 ¼” x 2 ¾”
  • Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper: 4 ¾” x 4”
  • Basic White: 5 ¼” x 4” (inside)
  • Ribbon 8”

Instructions:

  1. Adhere large white card stock to the inside of the card base.
  2. Adhere striped DSP to the center of the card front.
  3. Adhere Pumpkin Pie card stock to Basic Black card stock, then adhere layers to the center of the card front.
  4. Punch 3 different Designer Papers with Everyday Label Punch and adhere to Pumpkin Pie card stock.
  5. Punch ghost, jack-o-lantern, and cat from DSP with Halloween Punch. Adhere to card front as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Cut out vampire and 2 tombstones from DSP with Paper Snips. Adhere to card front as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Colour Black & White Gingham Ribbon with Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Let dry.
  8. Tie a bow and adhere the bow to the card front as shown using Mini Glue Dot.
  9. Use your Take Your Pick tool to adhere 3 black Cute Star Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front as shown.

So Thankful For You

Fall is here and Halloween is next month, it’s time to start stamping with some fall colours! I love these pumpkins, they make a really pretty card!

Measurements: 

  • Crumb Cake 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored & folded at 4-1/4″
  •  Basic Black 4″ x 5-1/4″plus scrap for greeting
  • Basic White 3″ x 3″ (image)
  •  Basic White 4″ x 5-1/4″ (card liner)
  • Designer Paper: Crumb Cake plaid 3-3/4″ x 5″
  • Designer Paper: Black Glitter 1″ x 5″

Instructions:

  1. Adhere Designer Paper #1 Crumb Cake plaid to cardstock #2 Basic Black and then to card base.
  2. Use zig-zag border die to cut black glitter paper, having edge of the die at edge of paper. Adhere to card with the top straight edge 1-5/8″ from bottom of card base.
  3. Stamp pumpkins with Memento ink on cardstock #3 Basic White. Color with Stampin’ Blends and die cut with coordinating Detailed Pumpkins die. Adhere to card with dimensionals.
  4. Heat emboss greeting with white embossing powder on Basic Black scrap. Fussy cut greeting and adhere to card with dimensionals.
  5. Add Matte Black Dots.
  6. For card liner: Adhere leftover glitter zig-zag on left side of cardstock #4 and trim edges even with cardstock.
  7. Stamp leaf and blossom at lower left and color with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere liner inside card.
