The new Annual Catalogue launches on May 3rd for customers but demonstrators got to pre-order some products on April 1st. One of the sets I have is the new Good Feelings stamp set. It’s a beautiful greetings stamp set. I decided to pair it with the Artistically Inked stamp set that will be returning in the next Annual Catalogue.

Good Feelings stamp set & the new Annual Catalogue

Dimensions

  • Melon Mambo: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 2 1/8″ x 3 1/2″ Stitched Rectangle Die
  •  Flirty Flamingo:  2 1/4″ x 3 5/8″

Directions:

  1. Stamp the right-hand of the card with Flirty Flamingo ink using the abstract stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set. (Stamp it repeatedly until you like the pattern). Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the card base.
  2. Stamp the greeting with Flirty Flamingo ink, then use the Melon Mambo Marker to colour “MIND” and “HEART”. Huff on the stamp to re-moisten then stamp it on scrap Basic White cardstock. Cut it out using the 2 1/8″ x 3 1/2″ Stitched Rectangle Die. Add to the card using Dimensionals.
  3. Ink the flower with Flirty Flamingo ink then colour parts of it using the Melon Mambo marker. Huff on the stamp then stamp it on scrap Basic White cardstock. Cut it out using the coordinating die. Repeat process for 2nd flower.
  4. Ink the leaves with Granny Apple Green ink, then colour part of the edges using the Old Olive marker. Huff on the stamp the stamp it on Basic White cardstock. Cut them out using the coordinating die.
  5. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card using Dimensionals.
  6. Add Rhinestones to the middle of the flowers.

Carefree Day

I love the bright colours on this card. It makes me feel like the spring weather is coming soon, but, unfortunately today, it is snowing again!

Measurements: 

  • Card Base: Pool Party 4-1/4” x 11, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Cardstock #1: Daffodil Delight4” x 5-1/4”
  • Cardstock #2: Basic White 3-3/4” x 5”
  • Cardstock #3: Basic White 3-1/4” x 4-1/2”
  • Designer Series Paper #1: 3-3/4” x 1”
  • Cardstock #4: Daffodil Delight 3-1/2” x 1/2”
  • Scrap of Daffodil Delight &Basic White Cardstock for stamped kites

Instructions:

  1. Fold the Pool Party card base in half and burnish the fold.
  2. On the piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the kite strings and three clouds in Memento ink as shown.
  3. Color the bows on the kite strings with Pool Party Dark & Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin’ Blends, then accent the shadows on the clouds with Pool Party Light Stampin’ Blends. Accent the clouds with Wink of Stella.
  4. Adhere the DSP to the Basic White Cardstock, about 1/8” from the bottom.
  5. Adhere the Basic White Cardstock layer to the Daffodil Delight Cardstock, then adhere to the Pool Party card base.
  6. On a scrap of Daffodil Delight Cardstock, stamp the kite in Daffodil Delight ink, cut out the image and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the kite in Memento ink, color the image with Stampin’ Blends (Daffodil Delight Dark and Pool Party Dark), then cut out the image and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Accent the centers of the flowers with Wink of Stella.
  8. Stamp the sentiment on the strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock in Memento ink. Banner punch both ends of the sentiment strip using the Banners Pink a Punch and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Tie a bow using the silver Simply Elegant Trim and adhere to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  10. Add three Bumblebee In Color Jewels (two medium, one small) to the card front as shown.

Kind Human

The little robots from the Nuts & Bolts stamp set are absolutely adorable, don’t you think!?
Measurements:
• Basic White 4.25 x 11” folded to 4.25” x 5.5”
• Pale Papaya 4” x 5.25”

Instructions:

  1. Cut and score Basic White card base. Fold in half.
  2. Cut Pale Papaya Cardstock to 4” x 5.25”.
  3. Using the flower robot stamp, ink the flower gear image only in Pale Papaya ink on the Pale Papaya cardstock. Use a post-it note to mask off the robot if needed. Stamp gear flower randomly in background. Mount to card front.
  4. Using the flower robot stamp, Ink and stamp the flower gear image 3 times in Pale Papaya ink on the Pale Papaya card stock.
  5. Using the Strawberry Builder punch (flower image), punch out all three of the stamped flower gears. Curl petal edges slightly with fingers or bone folder. Add an iridescent rhinestone to each punched flower center. Set aside.
  6. Stamp robot in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock. Colour using Smoky Slate, Basic Black and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends. Use a colour lifter to model the gray ink and make it look distressed.
  7. Cut out finished coloured robot image.
  8. Stamp Kind Human sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock. Cut out.
  9. In the top 2/3 of the stamped Pale Payapa cardstock blend a small circle of Pale Papaya ink using a blending brush and Pale Papaya ink. The blended circle should be slightly larger than the size of the robot image. See card for placement example.
  10. Mount Robot using Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of the blended circle. Add sentiment using dimensionals, mount under robot feet.
  11. Die cut the smaller YOU ARE AMAZING from Pale Papaya cardstock using the Amazing Thanks dies. Mount to card in the bottom 2/3 using liquid glue. See card for placement example.
  12. Mount three flowers around robot onto card front using a glue dot.

Oceanfront Thank You

Measurements:

• Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic White: 3-1/2” x 5-1/2”
• Basic White: Scraps for sentiment and rocks

Instructions:

1. Score the large piece of Basic White cardstock at 4-1/4“. Fold in half, and use your Bone Folder to create a sharp crease.
2. Using Pool Party ink, stamp the water image in the center of the 5-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece of Basic White cardstock.
3. Using Blushing Bride ink, stamp the sky.
4. Using Gray Granite ink, stamp the sand.
5. Use Old Olive ink to stamp the tall leaves on the left side, and use Rich Razzleberry to stamp the grass just left of center. Glue the cardstock to the card base.
6. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the double rock image on a scrap piece of paper. Hand cut around the edges of the image. Adhere to the main image with Stampin’ Seal.
7. Using Memento Tuxedo black ink, stamp the sentiment from the ‘On the Horizon stamp set into a piece of scrap Basic White cardstock.
8. Use your die cutting machine and the smallest of the Tailor Made Tags to cut the sentiment. Use your paper trimmer, or hand cut the right side so that you have a flat edge against the edge of the stamped cardstock. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Shaded Summer

If you have a bunch of Designer Paper scraps lying around, this is a great card to make! You can mix and match some designs and use them in fun ways on your cards!

Measurements:

  • Basic White : 8 ½” x 5 ½” , 3 ¾” x 2 ½”
  • Blushing Bride: 4” x 5 ¼” , 3 ¾” x ¾”
  • Daffodil Delight: 3 ¾” x 2 ½”
  • Designer Series Paper: ¾” x 1, ¾” x 1 ¼”, ¾” x 1 ½”, ¾” x 1 ¾” (X2), ¾” x 2” (X2)

Instructions:

  1. Fold 8 ½” x 5 ½” Basic White card stock in half to create card base.
  2. Glue 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Blushing Bride card stock to front of card.
  3. Run Daffodil Delight card stock through embossing folder and glue to card, along the bottom.
  4. Stamp sentiment from “Shaded Summer” set with Black Memento ink onto 3 ¾” x 2 ½” Basic White card stock. Glue above the Daffodil Delight card stock layer.
  5. Place a strip of Tear & Tape adhesive along the middle, where the Daffodil Delight and Basic White card stocks meet. Remove backing.
  6. Flag each piece of Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips (cut up the middle of bottom edge and then cut corner to center on each side). You’ve now got seven banners!
  7. Position the banners across the middle of your card, along the Tear & Tape adhesive.
  8. Run 3 ¾” x ¾” Blushing Bride card stock through die cutting machine using the scalloped border die.
  9. Place Tear & Tape adhesive across the middle of 3 ¾” x ¾” strip of Blushing Bride card stock. Peel off backing and place ribbon on top, securing in the back. Glue across the center of card.
  10. Use dies to cut leaves from Garden Green card stock and three flowers from Blushing Bride card stock. Adhere the flowers to front of card using a Stampin’ Dimensional between each one. Adhere the leaves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  11. Place gems in center of flower.
  12. Make a ribbon bow and place onto card using Mini Glue Dots to hold into place.
