Shaded Summer

If you have a bunch of Designer Paper scraps lying around, this is a great card to make! You can mix and match some designs and use them in fun ways on your cards!

Measurements:

• Basic White : 8 ½” x 5 ½” , 3 ¾” x 2 ½”
• Blushing Bride: 4” x 5 ¼” , 3 ¾” x ¾”
• Daffodil Delight: 3 ¾” x 2 ½”
• Designer Series Paper: ¾” x 1, ¾” x 1 ¼”, ¾” x 1 ½”, ¾” x 1 ¾” (X2), ¾” x 2” (X2)

Instructions:

1. Fold 8 ½” x 5 ½” Basic White card stock in half to create card base.
2. Glue 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Blushing Bride card stock to front of card.
3. Run Daffodil Delight card stock through embossing folder and glue to card, along the bottom.
4. Stamp sentiment from “Shaded Summer” set with Black Memento ink onto 3 ¾” x 2 ½” Basic White card stock. Glue above the Daffodil Delight card stock layer.
5. Place a strip of Tear & Tape adhesive along the middle, where the Daffodil Delight and Basic White card stocks meet. Remove backing.
6. Flag each piece of Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips (cut up the middle of bottom edge and then cut corner to center on each side). You’ve now got seven banners!
7. Position the banners across the middle of your card, along the Tear & Tape adhesive.
8. Run 3 ¾” x ¾” Blushing Bride card stock through die cutting machine using the scalloped border die.
9. Place Tear & Tape adhesive across the middle of 3 ¾” x ¾” strip of Blushing Bride card stock. Peel off backing and place ribbon on top, securing in the back. Glue across the center of card.
10. Use dies to cut leaves from Garden Green card stock and three flowers from Blushing Bride card stock. Adhere the flowers to front of card using a Stampin’ Dimensional between each one. Adhere the leaves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
11. Place gems in center of flower.
12. Make a ribbon bow and place onto card using Mini Glue Dots to hold into place.
