Happy Birthday Masculine Card

If you’re looking to make a masculine card, the Best Route Designer Series Paper is perfect!

Measurements:

  • Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ score at 5-1/2″
  • Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 2-1/4” x 3-1/4”
  • Gray Granite Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Gray Granite Cardstock: 3-1/2” x 2-1/2”
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 2-1/4”
  • Best Route DSP Blueberry Bushel print: 1-1/4” x 5”
  • Best Route DSP Gray Granite print: 2” x 3”
  • Gray Granite Ribbon: 5”
  • Blueberry Bushel Ribbon: 5”

Instructions:

  • Run 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Gray Granite through Big Shot with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.
  • Attach Blueberry Bushel print to Gray Granite embossed cardstock with Snail Adhesive.
  • Attach Gray Granite print to Blueberry Bushel cardstock and attach this to the Gray Granite embossed cardstock with Snail
  • Wrap Gray Granite ribbon around Gray Granite embossed cardstock and secure to the back side with Snail. Do the same with the Blueberry Bushel ribbon.
  • Attach the Gray Granite embossed layers to the card front with Snail.
  • Cut out oval from Gray Granite cardstock using the Layering Ovals Framelits (third from the largest)
  • Stamp Happy Birthday in Blueberry Bushel ink on the Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (second from the larges oval)
  • Attach stamped piece to Gray Granite oval with snail and attach these layers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Attach 3 Metallic Pearls (silver) under the stamped sentiment.

Measurements:

  • Whisper White CS: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2″, 3 3/4” X 5”
  • Blueberry Bushel CS: 5 1/4” x 4″
  • Garden Impressions DSP: 6” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Score Whisper White cardstock at 4 1/4” then fold to form card base.
  2. Run Garden Impressions DSP through Big Shot using Springtime Impressions Thinlits.
  3. Adhere die-cut to Whisper White CS using Fine-Tip Glue Pin.
  4. Stamp ‘sentiment’ using Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White CS unit.
  5. Adhere Whisper White CS unit to Blueberry Bushel CS.
  6. Wrap Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon around stamped unit; Tie with bow.
  7. Adhere Blueberry Bushel CS unit to Whisper White card front.
  8. Finish by adding Pearl Basic Jewels to several die cut flowers and beneath sentiment.

Here’s a perfect card for a celebration!

Measurements:

  • Pineapple Punch card base: 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2” then folded in half plus scrap that is about 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
  • Calypso Coral: 3-3/4” x 5”, scrap about ½” x 4-3/4”, and a scrap about 2” x 6”
  • Memories & More card: trim to 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”
  • Whisper White: scrap about 2-1/4” x 2-1/4”
  • Ribbon: about 6” and a piece about 9”

Instructions:

  1. Run Pineapple Punch card base and Calypso Coral ½” x 4-3/4” scrap side-by-side through Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder using Big Shot. Set aside.
  2. Adhere Memories & More card piece to Calypso Coral cardstock with SNAIL Adhesive then do the same to adhere the ½” strip over the center horizontally.
  3. Wrap 6” length of ribbon across the ½” strip after applying a dab of SNAIL to the center front (to keep it in place) and a short strip of SNAIL on each side of the back of the Calypso Coral cardstock to also keep in place. Secure back ends with household tape.
  4. Stamp large circle image in Pineapple Punch ink onto same color cardstock.
  5. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap then accent with Pineapple Punch curly-q’s.
  6. Die cut both with appropriately sized Stitched Shapes Framelits (3” and 1-7/8”)
  7. Wrap the 9” length of ribbon around Pineapple Punch piece and knot at left edge. Trim edges at an angle with Paper Snips so they peek out of left side at least 1”
  8. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere Whisper White sentiment piece to top of Pineapple Punch circle.
  9. Stamp three flowers with Calypso Coral ink onto same cardstock. Die cut flowers with Gatefold Blossoms Framelits. Using SNAIL adhere two flowers directly onto Pineapple Punch circle at left. Using a touch of SNAIL on right edge of 3rd flower as well as one Stampin’ Dimensional on left side, adhere so that it’s in the center and overlaps the two beneath it.
  10. Affix the So Saffron Artisan Pearls to center of flowers.
  11. Using 4 Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the center piece to card front.

I am so in LOVE with the characters in the Postcard Pals stamp set and the greetings in the set are super sweet!

Measurements:

  • Soft Suede Cardstock:    8 1/2” x 5 1/2” ;  3 1/2” x 3 1/2”  ;  3” x ½”
  • Shaded Spruce Cardstock: 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 3” x 3” ;  3’ x ½’
  • Mango Melody Cardstock: 4” x 2 ¾”
  • Designer Series Paper:   4” x 2 1/4”

Instructions:

  1. Take your large piece of Soft Suede card stock and fold in half for your card base.
  2. Emboss your piece of Shaded Spruce Card Stock with the Tufted Embossing folder.
  3. Punch your scrap piece of Soft Suede and Whisper White with the classic label punch.
  4. Stamp your sentiment on your punched Whisper White scrap piece with the Soft Suede ink and then adhere over top of the Soft Suede punched scrap and set to the side.
  5. Stamp your image to color onto your 3×3 piece of Whisper White Card Stock using the Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  6. Color your image as desired using the Stampin’ Blends markers.
  7. Die cut the appropriate sized scalloped frame using the Layering Squares framelits out of the square piece of Soft Suede card stock and adhere your colored image to the top.
  8. Assemble your DSP atop of the Mango Melody card stock and then adhere to the embossed Shaded Spruce card stock. Then adhere the colored framed image and the sentiment where desired.
  9. Finally, adhere your card front to your card base.

If you look closely on this card, you may notice a couple of products that will be in next month’s Holiday Catalogue. (Hint: you’ll find the names below the product listings below)

Measurements:

  • Cherry Cobbler:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
  • Crumb Cake: 4 1/4” x 3 1/4”
  • Old Olive: 1” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Fold Cherry Cobbler card stock in half to create card base.
  2. Ink leaf images from “Colorful Seasons” set to stamp along the right side of Crumb Cake card stock (I used the following ink pads: Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive). Rub over stamped leaves with Embossing Buddy. Ink the stamp with the leaf ‘veins’ with versamark and stamp on top of previously stamp leaves. Shake on Gold Embossing Powder, removing excess; heat set.
  3. Stamp sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings set with Early Espresso.
  4. Run strip of Old Olive through the Big Shot using scallop edge die from “Seasonal Layers” Thinlits. Place cut piece inside “Swirls & Curls” embossing folder and run through the Big Shot. Glue behind the Crumb Cake layer.
  5. Wrap twine twice around Crumb Cake, securing in back. Adhere Crumb Cake layer to front of card. Add twine bow, securing with a glue dot.
  6. Place three rhinestones below sentiment.
  7. Mist with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (mix a few drops of paint in a bottle with rubbing alcohol – shake and spray as desired).
