Polka Dot Kraft pillow boxes with Blended Seasons

OMG…check out these adorable polka dot Kraft pillow boxes!!!! They are sooooo stinkin’ cute and perfect to decorate!
This cute little package uses the Color Your Season Products that are only available in August, while supplies last!

This stamp set is super versatile and when paired with this cute little pillow box, make the perfect little package for a small gift.

 

Measurements:

  • Whisper White Card Stock: 2 ¾” x 3 ½”                 7/8” x 4”    scrap
  • Gold Foil: 2” x 2”
  • Granny Apple Green Card Stock: 2” x 2”

Instructions:

    1. Assemble pillow box by pinching the center and folding the ends in along the score lines. No adhesive needed. Note: the notched side is meant to be on top of the other.
    2. Die cut the smallest label shape from the Stitched Seasons framelits from the largest piece of whisper white cardstock.
    3. Stamp leaf image from the Blended Seasons stamp set using Memento black ink onto the left side of the label shape.
    4. Stamp the leaf image again onto a scrap of white. You will only need a couple of the smaller leaves from this piece.
    5. Color all the leaves on the label shape using the Stampin’ Blends (and a couple of the smaller ones on the scrap cardstock). I started with a layer of light daffodil, added a bit of light pumpkin along the veins of the leaves. Blended with the dark daffodil and then blended the entire leaf with the light daffodil. If you’d like a bit more orange, add a bit of the dark pumpkin.
    6. Add the label shape to the centre of the pillow box using dimensionals.
    7. Stamp greeting using black ink and trim ends as shown.
    8. Add this to the pillow box using dimensionals.
    9. Die cut the leaf/berry framelit from the granny apple green cardstock and tuck it under the greeting.
    10. Die cut the leaf framelit from the gold foil and tuck it under the greeting.
    11. Cut out two of the smaller leaves from the scrap and add them to the pillow box as shown in the photo.

Tropical Chic in rainbow colour!

I had so much fun making this card…I is one of my faves I’ve made in a long time! Before making it, my girls and I had to pick colours and ink up my new uninked Spectrum Ink pad (more on that below). I think the colours are super fun and loved using this stamp set to create this colourful card!

Measurements:

  • Granny Apple Green – 8 ½” x 5 ½ and 3/4” x 2 ¼”
  • Basic Black – 4” x 5 ¼”

 Instructions:

1. Use Spectrum ink pad to ink up the 3 leaves and flower.
2. Cut out images using Big Shot with the Tropical Thinlits Dies. (You can cut out all of them at the same time if you use Washi Tape to keep them in place on the clear embossing plate).

3. Run the Basic Black cardstock through the Big Shot using the Subtles Embossing Folder to add texture.
4. Cut out a 3” circle out of the Tropical Escape Designer Paper using the Simply Circles Framelits.
5. Adhere to Basic Black cardstock and circle to card using SNAIL Adhesive.
6. Position 2 larger leaves and adhere to card using SNAIL Adhesive. Put a tiny bit of adhesive on back of the green leaves and add to card.
7. Stamp greeting on cardstock and add to card using Dimensionals.
8. Add dimensionals to back of flower and smaller leaf and add to card.
9. Add sequins to card.

Adding colours to your Spectrum Ink Pad:

1. Play with different colour combinations. You can use Stampin’ Up! marker colours, stamp different images on a paper or even add a drop of re-inker to paper to find your perfect colour combination.


Once you’ve decided on your colours, start adding re-inker to the first section. (Don’t get it too wet)


Once fully inked, you can push sections together to stamp!

* Tip: When not using your Spectrum ink pad, make sure you separate the ink colors.

Friend card

Happy Tuesday everyone! With this card, you can see how fun it is to add a little stamping to designer paper! 

Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”; 2” x 3 ½”; 1” x 3”
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼”; 2” x 3 ½”
  • DSP – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”; 1” x 51/8”

Instructions:

  1. Score and fold the Whisper White card base.
  2. Ink the circular image with Blushing Bride ink, stamp 3 times on pink side of DSP panel.
  3. Adhere the Striped DSP strip to the bottom edge of the Pink stamped DSP layer.
  4. Adhere the DSP panel layer to the Granny Apple Green cardstock panel layer.
  5. With 6-7” of Granny Apple Green Ribbon, wrap around the Granny Apple Green layered panel, adhere to the back.  With about 4” of ribbon, tie a knot to the first layer of ribbon, trim ends. Optional: adhere with a Mini Glue Dot under the knot.
  6. Using the piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the floral bouquet image with Blushing Bride ink.  Die cut the image out with the coordinating Framelit and Big Shot.
  7. Using the 1”x3” piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the Friend greeting with Tuxedo Black ink.  Hand trim and create a flag tag on the right edge with paper snips.
  8. With a small scrap of Granny Apple Green cardstock, position the framelit with the large 3-4 leaf panel so that it will cut the leaves; rotate die and repeat for a 2nd set of leaves.
  9.  Adhere the Friend greeting so that it layers into the bouquet image.  Hand trim leaves away from the framelit trim and adhere behind the bouquet (see photo for placement).

Coastal Cabana Thanks

Measurements:

• Whisper White Thick 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2” & scrap
• Whisper White 4” x 5-1/4”
• Coastal Cabana scrap

Instructions:

1. Lay Whisper White layer on the opposite side of the embossing folder front (the SU label is on the front).
2. Color the entire layer with a white crayon.
3. Press lid of Coastal Cabana ink pad to get ink in the lid.
4. Add a drop of water with Aqua Painter to dilute and wash color over crayon colored layer.
5. Die cut images with Whisper White and Coastal Cabana cardstock.
6. Stamp THANK YOU image in Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White scrap and punch with 3/8” Scallop Circle punch – add to Coastal Cabana slotted circle and then to large white die.
7. Add 3/8” Whisper White Classic Weave to embossed layer – tie a bow and add with a Mini Glue Dot.
8. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the die cut images and adhere to card front where shown.

Tropical Birthday

Measurements:

• Thick Whisper White: 4¼” x 11”
• Whisper White: 3 ½” x 5 ½”
• Shaded Spruce: 1/8” x 5 ½”
• Tropical Escape DSP: 1” x 5 ½”

Instructions:

1. Adhere the DSP to the left side of the card
2. Hinge Stamp the Happy Birthday Sentiment on the 3 ½” x 5 ½” panel. Placing your Cardstock in the right corner of the Stamparatus and laying your stamp where needed. Ink first With Granny Apple Green, move the plated down to the next hinge and stamp in Blushing Bride and then Granny Apple and so forth. Or you can do hinge 1-3-5 in Granny Apple, clean and do Hinge 2 & 4 in Blushing Bride. Attach to card overlapping the DSP using Mono Adhesive.
3. Add strip of Shaded Spruce using Tombo Multi
4. Stamp the leaves in Granny Apple Green and cut out using Framelit. Stamp Flower in Blusihng Bride and cut out using the Framelit.
5. Cut Shaded Spruce Ferns (2) and add to card.
6. Ferns and leaf on the left are adhered using adhesive. Bigger Leaf is popped up with Dimensional as well as the Flower.
7. Add Rhinestone to the center of the Flower.
