Bella and Friends Christmas Card

Posted on December 8, 2016May 3, 2017 by Josee

Good day!

I don't know about you, but I just LOVE these cute puppy's from the Bella and Friends stamp set! So adorable that I had to make another card using these cuties! You can check out the other projects made using this puppy for Christmas cards here and here.

Bella Friends, Stampin Up, Christmas Card

How To Make It:

This card started with a card base of Mint Macaron cardstock.

Then I added a strip of Fancy Frost Designer Series Papers that I had inked up with a Real Red ink pad.  Before adhering the strip to the cardbase I tied some Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine at one end.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the cutie patootie puppy dog from the Bella and Friends stamp set with Archival Basic Black ink and once it was dry I cut it out using the circle from the Stitched Shape Framelits.

The puppy was then colored in using Aqua Painters and Crumb Cake ink (or Stampin' Write Marker). The collar was colored with Mint Macaron and Real Red Stampin' Write markers.

The Jolly Hat Builder Punch was used to punch Real Red and Whisper White cardstock. The hat was assembled with Mini Glue Dots and then added to the stamp circle.  Then the layer was added to the Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper strip with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Finally, the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set was stamped with Black Ink and punched out using the Decorative Label Punch and added to the cardfront with SNAIL Adhesive.

Hang Your Stockings Christmas Card

Posted on December 7, 2016December 7, 2016 by Josee

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by today! I've got a somewhat simple card to share with you today. It comes together pretty quickly using the Hang Your Stockings stamp set and of course the matching Christmas Stockings Thinlits dies!

Hang Your Stockings Christmas Card, Stampin Up

How To Make It:

Start this card with a cardbase of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

Then I cut a piece of Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper and used Real Red, Dapper Denim and Pear Pizzazz inks and a Stampin' Sponge to add color to the Designer Paper. Then that was adhered to the cardfront with SNAIL Adhesive.

Stamp the sentiment from Hang Your Stocking on a strip of Whisper White cardstock and trim the ends using the Banner Triple Punch. Adhere that to the Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper layer.

Using the Real Red cardstock and the Christmas Stocking Thinlits Dies, cut the swirly stocking. Stamp the stitching for the cuff, heel and toe using the stamps from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set with Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut those out using the same die set.  Adhere all the stocking pieces together using the Mini Glue Dots and use a few more Mini Glue Dots to adhere the stocking to the card front making sure the hide the Glue Dots so they can't be seen.

Finally, take some Real Red Baker's Twine from the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine set and thread it through one of the holly Christmas Trinkets Embellishments, tying a bow. Then use a Mini Glue Dot to add the trinket to the stocking.

Christmas Pines Wreath card

Christmas Pines Wreath Card

Posted on November 30, 2016November 28, 2016 by Josee

Hello!

Today's card features the Christmas Pines bundle- the Christmas Pines stamp set and Pretty Pines Thinlits-to create this fun Christmas wreath card.

Christmas Pines Wreath card

How To Make It:

This card starts with a base of Mint Macaron cardstock. Then a layer of Watermelon Wonder cardstock and Whisper White on top.

Then the Pretty Pines Thinlits were used to die cut several pieces of Mint Macaron and Cucumber Crush cardstock. The die cuts were layed out on the Whisper White layer to create the wreath. Once I was happy with the wreath layout I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to add a dot of glue to each die cut glueing each one under the previous one.

Once the wreath was completed, the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set was stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink on the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock.

I pieced together a bow out of Watermelon Wonder Striped Ribbon and added it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

As a final touch, some Pearls Basics Jewels were added to the wreath.

Stamps:

Paper:

Mint Macaron cardstock-138337, Cucumber Crush cardstock- 138335, Watermelon Wonder cardstock-138334

Cookie Cutter Christmas Ornament

Posted on November 29, 2016November 29, 2016 by Josee

Good Morning!

Today's project features the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to create this ornament. The base of the ornament was made using several cuts of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper using the Layered Squares Framelits dies.

cookie-cutter-christmas-gingerbread-man-ornament-by-stampingjo

How To Make It:

The base of the ornament is easy to make and can be used with other various stamps, die cuts and punches to create the focal point image.

Start by die cutting the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper three times using the Layered Squares Framelits. Score the squares down the middle and fold. Add some strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to each folded half adhering two of the squares together.

Before adhering the last square, take some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and thread the Christmas Trinket Embellishment onto the twine and then knot it leaving a loop at the top. Lay it in the middle of the already adhered squares, then add the last square with Tear & Tape Adhesive making sure the have the loop of twine coming out the top middle of the squares and the trinket ornament hanging off the bottom.

From here, you can decorate the ornament any way you like. I kept it simple by stamping the gingerbread man from Cookie Cutter Christmas on Crumb Cake cardstock with Soft Suede ink. Then I punched it with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the gingerbread man to the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

As a final touch, some Rhinestones Basics Jewels were added to the front of the gingerbread man for sparkly buttons.

Stamps:

Cookie Cutter Christmas-142043

Paper:

Crumb Cake cardstock-120953, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper-135315

Ink:

Soft Suede ink-126978

Other:

Cookie Cutter Builder Punch-140396, Layering Squares Framelits- 141708, Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine-123125, Christmas Trinkets Embellishments-141997, Tear & Tape Adhesive-138995, Rhinestones Basics Jewels- 119246

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
