Gift Card Pillow Box

Today’s project is another easy to make gift card holder- a pillow box- made with the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits and the Big Shot!

How To Make This Pillow Box:

Take two pieces of Old Olive cardstock and the pillow box die from the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits and die cut two pieces the same. Use some Paper Snips to trim off the tab as it is not needed for the pillow box. Line both pieces together and add a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to the long edge- adhere them together to create the pillow box.

Die cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Lots of Labels Framelits dies. Stamp the die cut with the greeting from the Tags & Trimmings stamp set with Basic Black ink.

Stamp the holly leaves from the Tags & Trimmings stamp set with Old Olive Ink and stamp the berries/buttons using a Berry Burst ink pad. Stamp three more berries/buttons on a separate sheet of Whisper White and die cut using the matching Trim Your Stocking Thinlits die. Adhere the die cut berries where you want them with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Insert your gift card or small gift into the pillow box and then tie a piece of Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon around the pillow box as shown and tie a pretty bow.

Adhere the stamped die cut label over the ribbon and enjoy having another gift done and ready to go!

Gift Card Holder with Trim Your Stocking

Today’s project is a fun and easy to produce gift card holder that looks like a cute stocking! This project was made easy with the help of the Big Shot and the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits dies!

How To Make This Hand Made Gift Card Holder:

To create this gift card holder, you will need to die cut two pieces of Real Red cardstock using the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies. You will be die cutting one piece with the stocking die and one with the rounded rectangular die (pillow box die). These pieces will be put together with Tear & Tape Adhesive to create the main form for the stocking. Make sure you don’t adhere the tabs at the top of the stocking so they are able to open and close 🙂

Next, die cut the heart and the stocking top, toe and heel using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper– these will get adhered to the stocking front. The heart die cut was added with a Stampin’ Dimensional for a little pop.

Die cut the tag using Whisper White cardstock and stamp the To and From from the Tags & Trimmings stamp set in Basic Black ink.

Using the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch, punch a hole in the top of both tabs at the top of the stocking- you will then add the red Mini Tinsel Trim through the punched hole, leaving a knot on the bottom so that the stocking can be hung. This will need to be removable if you have not adding your gift card yet, so make sure to keep the knot on the underside only so that you can still remove the tabs to insert a gift card.

Tie the tag onto the Mini Tinsel Trim loop using Silver Metallic Thread.
