Can you believe that it’s 9 days till Christmas?! Right now, in Ottawa, there’s really no snow on the ground so it doesn’t really feel like it to me.

Measurements:

  • Thick Basic White: 5 1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored and folded at 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”
  • Basic White: 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Die Cut Label: 2 1/4” x 3 1/4”
  • Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon: 9”
  • White Baker’s Twine: 14”

Instructions:

  1. Ink Knit Together background stamp with Fresh Freesia ink. Lay the Basic White layer over the stamp and rub in the areas you want to transfer the ink to create an organic shape.
  2. Ink the large “thanks” from the Biggest Wish stamp set with Fresh Freesia ink and stamp on Basic White cardstock. Next, ink the cursive “thanks” and stamp it over top in Gorgeous Grape ink.
  3. Cut out the sentiment with the tag die from Hippos & Friends Dies.
  4. Adhere the Basic White panel to the card base with Dimensionals.
  5. Adhere the sentiment with Dimensionals.
  6. Cut the Fresh Freesia ribbon in half lengthwise. Wrap it back and forth in a figure eight and tie a White Baker’s Twine bow around it. Adhere the bow with Mini Glue Dots.
  7. Add Opal Rounds to accent.

Dimensions:

  • Pool Party: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic Black: 1/2″ x 1 3/4″
  • Shimmery White: 2 7/8″ circle die

Directions:

  1. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card base.
  2. Use the 3″ scallop circle die to cut out the card front and the designer paper.
  3. Stamp the Santa on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento ink. Cut it out using the 2 7/8″ circle die.
  4. Colour the Santa using the various Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella. Adhere the circle to the inside of card by placing it evenly through the front “window”.
  5. Stamp the greeting on Basic Black cardstock using Versamark ink. (Tip: if you have our retired Embossing Buddy, use it on the cardstock before stamping so that it reduces the static and keeps the embossing powder just on the Versamark. If you don’t own the Embossing Buddy, swipe a dryer over the cardstock instead.)
  6. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder on cardstock, tap off excess and heat set with the Heat Tool. (Tip: I keep my embossing powder in a plastic Dollar Store container and use a plastic spoon.)
  7. Add glue to the right hand side of the greeting layer and adhere it to the front.

Christmas Cheer

Did you know that you can get the Seasons of Fun stamp set as a discounted stamp with a minimum $200 order as part of our Hostess Reward?

Measurements:

  • Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper: 5 3/8” x 2 7/8”
  • Real Red: 5 ½” x 3”
  • Old Olive: 6” x 7 ½”, scored at 3 ¾ ” for the card base

Instructions:

  1. Stamp sentiment in top right corner and sledding image in borrow left corner with black StazOn ink.
  2. Squeeze all the other ink pads while closed to get a small amount of ink in the lid, then open the ink pads and use the Water Painters to pick up ink and paint the image with smaller brush ends.
  3. Use the large flat brush Water Painter to paint the background in Misty Moonlight. Let it dry, then stamp snowflakes on top in Misty Moonlight ink as well.
  4. Adhere all layers to card front
