I finished this card today with the new Hues of Happiness Suite (#158828) which includes the Happiness Abounds Bundle – stamp set & dies (#158824), the Hues of Happiness Designer Paper (#158822) and the Glossy Dots Assortment (#158827).
You can find these products on pages 108-109 in the Annual Catalogue.
The sample was inspired by the card on the catalogue cover. I love using the catalogue to copy cards to make! ?

Dimensions

  • Melon Mambo: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″

Directions

  1. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card base.
  2. Use the flower background die and the spiral edge die to cut out the Basic White cardstock. Adhere the Basic White cardstock on an angle to the card.
  3. Use the dies to cut out the flowers and the leaves from the Designer Paper.
  4. Adhere the leaves with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and the flowers with Dimensionals.
  5. Add Glossy Dots in the middle of each flower.
  6. Stamp the greeting on Basic White cardstock using the Melon Mambo ink pad. Add to the card using Dimensionals.

A Coffee Kind Of Day

Measurements:

  • Card Base: Polished Pink 4-1/4” x 11, scored at 5-1/2”
  • Cardstock #1: Basic Black 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Cardstock #2: Basic White 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
  • Designer Series Paper #1: Parakeet Party (plaid pattern) 3-3/4” x 2”
  • Designer Series Paper #2: Parakeet Party (striped pattern) 3-3/4” x 2-7/8”
  • Scrap of Basic White Cardstock for stamping and die cut images

Instructions:

  1. Fold the Polished Pink card base in half and burnish the fold.
  2. Adhere the Parakeet Party Designer Series Paper pieces to the Basic White Cardstock layer.
  3. Adhere the Basic White Cardstock layer to the Basic Black Cardstock, then adhere to the Polished Pink card base.
  4. Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut out the largest square from Basic White Cardstock.
  5. Stamp the sentiments on the die cut square in Memento ink as shown.
  6. Stamp two coffee cup outline images on the die cut square in Memento ink. Stamp one filler image in Parakeet Party ink and one in Coastal Cabana ink.
  7. Stamp the steam images in Memento ink and then stamp three of the tiny star images in Parakeet Party ink.
  8. On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the coffee cup outline image in Memento ink, then stamp the filler image in Polished Pink ink. Die cut with the coordinating die from the Love You More Than Dies and adhere to the square with Stampin’
  9. Stamp the sentiment in Memento ink on the Parakeet Party striped DSP, use the die cut square as a guide for placement.
  10. Adhere the die cut square to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  11. Tie a bow using the black baker’s twine and adhere to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  12. Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels (one large, one medium, one small) to the card front as shown.

Celebrate Sunflowers

Have you looked at the new Designer Paper in the catalogue yet? For this card, I used the Hues of Happiness 12″ x 12″ paper. It has so many beautiful backgrounds.

Dimensions

  • Melon Mambo: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Daffodil Delight: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Cut out three 3 1/2″ x 4″ pieces from an Adhesive Sheet.
  2. Remove the back of the Adhesive Sheet piece and add it to the Basic White cardstock.
  3. Cut out 4 sunflower outlines using the die from the Sunflowers dies. Remove the “extra” pieces from the flower.
  4. Remove the paper piece of the Adhesive Sheet and add the flowers to the Designer Paper.
  5. Cut off the parts of the flowers that go beyond the edge of the Designer Paper. (You can use Paper Snips or a Trimmer)
  6. Adhere the Designer Paper to the Daffodil Delight cardstock.
  7. Place a piece of Crinkled Ribbon on the layers and adhere the ends to the back.
  8. Take another piece of ribbon and tie it in a knot around the first piece, then cut ends on an angle.
  9. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Melon Mambo ink pad.
  10. Cut the greeting out using the 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ Stitched Rectangle Die.
  11. Add Dimensionals to the back and add it to the card.

Into The Spirit

Dimensions

  • : 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 2 1/4″ x 4″

Directions

  1. Adhere the Designer Paper to the bottom of the Basic White cardstock.
  2. Colour the ribbon using the Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blend. Place the ribbon on top of the layers and adhere ends to the back.
  3. Adhere the layers to the card.
  4. Stamp the bottle on scrap Basic White using the Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party stamp pads. Punch them out using the coordinating punch.
  5. Colour the Linen Thread with the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend. Wrap it around the bottle neck in a bow. Add the bottles to the card using Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp the sprigs on Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink. Add them to the card using Dimensionals. (Cut the bottom of the sprig if needed to fit it under the bottle)
  7. Stamp the greeting on Basic White cardstock, then cut it out using a Paper Trimmer. Add it to the card by adding Dimensionals to the left side of the greeting and Stampin’ Seal on the right side.
