Stampin Gals Gone Wild- Best Tool Ever!

Posted on October 1, 2014October 1, 2014 by Josee

   SG-Wed-Freebie-3501

Hey guys! It's Connie!  How are you?  I am so excited for Wednesday because I have a super fun Stampin' Gals Gone Wild Wednesday video for you!

IMG_4787

Today I want to share with you a unique way to use the Gift Box Punch Board.  Do you have this tool yet?  Oh my gosh, you guys, this thing is the BEST!!!!  I love it!  I love to make boxes but the Gift Box Punch Board is worth its weight in gold, I'm tellin' ya!  It's fabulous!

IMG_4789 IMG_4790

Well, I was playing around with it and I wanted to make a different size box than those listed on the board itself.  With a few little adjustments (and some copy paper to practice with) I created this SWEET little box that will hold 6 Hershey Nuggets just perfectly!

Are you ready to learn how to make it?  Let's go…

If you are unable to see the video, CLICK HERE to view it online.

The measurements for my box are unique and you won't find them on the board so let me share with you what you need to know:

  • Designer Paper – (6) 1" x 3" (Hershey Nugget wrappers)
  • Whisper White 2 1/2" x 3" – run through Chalk Talk Framelit
  • Silver Glimmer Paper – 2" x 3 1/4"  (Scallop Tag Topper)
  • Crushed Curry Striped Ribbon – 9-inches

Thanksgiving Decor

Posted on September 30, 2014September 30, 2014 by Josee

Good morning!

****FLASH SALE TODAY ONLY!!*****SAVE 20% your total order today until 8pm EST! Order online & I will refund you the discount or email me with your order to receive the discount! Taxes & shipping extra.

With our Canadian Thanksgiving coming up in less than two weeks, I've been looking for some ways to add a little something extra to our table for our Thanksgiving meal. I came across some gorgeous stuff! There are some very creative minds out there! I thought I'd share some of the decor items I found 🙂

(You can click on each image for the creator's blogs)

This first one is a super cute door hanger by Carol Payne. I love the way she used the Burlap Ribbon to create the hanger and used the Fun Fall Framelits, Flower Fair Framelits dies and Circle Scallop Punch to cut out all those flowers from the Flower Patch and Fall Fest stamp sets! Gorgeous!

Next I found this simple but gorgeous table setting idea from Lisa Brown. What a super cute way to use the Autumn Accents Bigz Die and the Woodgrain embossing folder! Love this!! I love the Glimmer Paper acorns too!

Next I found what could be a gorgeous table centerpiece! This one is also from Lisa Brown-she has some great ideas 🙂 She used Burlap Ribbon and the Expressions Thinlits, as well as a stamp set and paper that are not currently available, but I think the Autumn Accents Bigz Die and paper from the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper would look fabulous in their place! Plus, I would add a few of our new Autumn Wooden Elements hanging from the ribbon as well!

And last, but certainly not least I thought these super cute pumpkin boxes by Georgia Giguere would make nice party favours for a little take home treat for your Thanksgiving guests.  She used the Curvy Keepsakes Thinlits  and  Hardwood stamp to create the box and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Autumn Wooden Elements  and the Note Tag Punch  and the Merry Everything stamp set to create the tag on the box. So cute!

Well, I hope you are as inspired as I am to get creating something festive! If only the Thanksgiving dinner came together as easily as these projects should! 🙂

Have a great day!
