Snow Scene with Bears

Have you seen the Beary Christmas Designer Paper?

It is super cute with lots of fun designs for card making and for scrapbooking. Not only can you cut it up with a trimmer but you can also use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the images to use on a projects.

BEARY CHRISTMAS 12" X 12" DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

You can see in this card that I cut out the trees and the bears from one of the papers.

Dimensions

  • Pool Party: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″

Directions

  1. Stamp snowflakes randomly on the front of the card using the Pool Party ink pad.
  2. Cut out all the images from the Designer Paper using Paper Snip Scissors (or sharp crafting scissors).
  3. Tear the top of your Basic White cardstock so that it looks like a snow hill. Stamp the  greeting using Blueberry Bushel ink, then adhere it to the card. (Don’t adhere too close to the top on the left-hand side so that you can tuck in the trees.)
  4. Adhere the small green and blue trees to the card.
  5. Add the other images using Dimensionals.

The Designer Paper in this suite of products is so fun to work with. There are lots of fun bright colours perfect for Christmas cards.

Measurements:

  • Granny Apple Green: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
  • Designer Paper: 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

  1. Colour the ribbon on both sides with the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend. Let dry.
  2. Adhere the ends of the ribbon to the back of the Designer Paper then adhere the DSP to the card.
  3. Punch out the Basic White cardstock with the Decorative Circle Punch.
  4. Placed the punched shape in the polka-dot embossing folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
  5. Stamp the lights on scrap Basic White cardstock using the Granny Apple Green and the Poppy Parade ink. Cut out using the matching die.
  6. Stamp the top of the lights on Crushed Curry using the matching ink pad. Cut them out using the matching dies. Adhere the tops to the cut out lights.
  7. Cut out Silver Foil paper using the “string” die. Loop it through the top of the lights and cut off the excess.
  8. Adhere lights to the punched out circle shape. Add the layer to the card using Dimensionals.
  9. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Crushed Curry ink pad.
  10. Cut it out using Paper Snips then add it to the card using Dimensionals.

Merry Christmas Bear

This card is so simple to make and can be made in just a few minutes if you need a quick card! The design can be easily duplicated with any punch or die cut shape.

Dimensions

Real Red: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/2″
Designer Paper: 3″ x 3″
Basic White: 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

Directions

  1. Stamp the front of the card randomnly using the little bear with Real Red ink.
  2. Stamp the greeting on the bottom of the Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink.
  3. Punch out the bear from the Basic White cardstock.
  4. Adhere the ribbon to the card.
  5. Adhere the Designer Paper, slightly to the right-hand side of the card.
  6. Add the Basic White layer to the card using Dimensionals.

Beary Warm Wishes

This idea came from a card I saw on Susan Campfield’s blog. Her card was a birthday card, but I wanted a Christmas card. If you didn’t see the other card I made with this design, go to THIS POST.

Measurements:

  • Basic Black: 4 ¼” X 5 ½”  and  3 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Garden Green: 3 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4”
  • Basic White (inside): 3 ¼” x 3 ¾”
  • Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3 ½”  x 4″

Instructions:

  1. Score the Garden Green cardstock at 4”.
  2. Adhere the Designer Paper to the front of the Blackberry Bliss.
  3. Wrap the ribbon around the front of the folded cardstock and tie it in a knot.
  4. Stamp the giraffe on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink.
  5. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour the image.
  6. Cut out using Paper Snips and add it to the card using Dimensionals.
  7. Stamp the greeting on the 7/8” x 2 ¼” Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink. Adhere it to the card, tucking it slightly under the ribbon.
  8. Stamp the greeting and image on the 3 ¼” x 3 ¾” Basic White cardstock. Adhere it to the inside of the folded card.
  9. Adhere the “mini card” to the Parakeet Party cardstock.
  10. Add White Pearlized Enamel to the hat and set aside to let dry.
