Beary Warm Wishes

This idea came from a card I saw on Susan Campfield’s blog. Her card was a birthday card, but I wanted a Christmas card. If you didn’t see the other card I made with this design, go to THIS POST.

Measurements:

• Basic Black: 4 ¼” X 5 ½”  and  3 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
• Garden Green: 3 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4”
• Basic White (inside): 3 ¼” x 3 ¾”
• Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3 ½”  x 4″

Instructions:

1. Score the Garden Green cardstock at 4”.
2. Adhere the Designer Paper to the front of the Blackberry Bliss.
3. Wrap the ribbon around the front of the folded cardstock and tie it in a knot.
4. Stamp the giraffe on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink.
5. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour the image.
6. Cut out using Paper Snips and add it to the card using Dimensionals.
7. Stamp the greeting on the 7/8” x 2 ¼” Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink. Adhere it to the card, tucking it slightly under the ribbon.
8. Stamp the greeting and image on the 3 ¼” x 3 ¾” Basic White cardstock. Adhere it to the inside of the folded card.
9. Adhere the “mini card” to the Parakeet Party cardstock.
10. Add White Pearlized Enamel to the hat and set aside to let dry.
