Every Good Wish Christmas Card

Eeek! How is it December 1st already!? The countdown to Christmas begins!! Here is another Christmas card idea for you. This card uses the Every Good Wish stamp set, the Tags & Trimmings stamp set as well as some layers to create this handmade card.

How To Make This Hand Stamped Christmas Card:

On a sheet of Whisper White cardstock stamp the greeting from the Every Good Wish stamp set with Tranquil Tide ink as shown, then stamp the snowflakes from the Tags & Trimmings stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Adhere the stamped layer to the Cherry Cobbler layer and tie a piece of Tranquil Tide Finely Woven Ribbon around it before adhering to the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Add a smaller piece of ribbon to the wrapped ribbon and before tying that add a Year of Cheer Embellishment tied on with some Silver Metallic Thread.

Add some Rhinestones Basics Jewels to the card front for some added bling!

Don’t forget the inside of the card! Stamp another sheet of Whisper White cardstock with more snowflakes and stamp the greeting as shown- adhere to the inside of the card.

Every Good Wish

Here’s a simple and cute Christmas Card Idea using the stamp set Every Good Wish.

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

Start with a Real Red Cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score the long side at 4 1/4″.

Cut a piece of the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and set aside.

Cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 3″ x 4 1/4″. Ink greeting in Real Red Ink and stamp on cardstock. Take poinsetta stamp and colour using the Real Red and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker. Huff on it to make it moist again and stamp on cardstock. Repeat.

Adhere stamped cardstock to Real Red Cardstock (3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″) with SNAIL Adhesive.

Adhere these 2 layers to Year of Cheer paper using Dimensionals. Take Gold Metallic Thread and tie around all layers, add a Year of Cheer Embellishment and tie a bow. Adhere all to card.

Smitten Mitten Embossing Paste Background

Hey Stampers! This card is one of my FAVOURITES! Yes, it’s non-traditional colours for Christmas…but, I LOVE IT!

I really like how the Embossing Paste creates such a pretty background with the Decorative Mask!

TIP: When you place the Mask on your card, use washi tape or regular tape to secure it to a scrap paper so that it does not move.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! This weekend for me was CRAZY BUSY and I have to say…I am glad it’s over! lol
This week is going to be a bit quieter, thank goodness!

Here’s today’s card…..
The Remarkable You stamp set can be used for beautiful Christmas Cards too! I combined it with the Tags & Trimmings stamp set to add a holiday greeting to the card.

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock in half to 4 1/4″ x 11″. Fold in half using bone folder to create a nice crease.

Stamp greeting from the Tags & Trimmings stamp set in bottom right corner using the Cherry Cobbler Ink.

Cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″. Stamp flower in Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White cardstock and quickly sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder (so that it does not dry out before powder).
Heat set powder with Heat Tool.

Use the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers to colour the flower.

Adhere the Whisper White Cardstock to the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (3″ x 3 3/4″) with SNAIL Adhesive. Use Stampin’ Blends Marker to colour directly on to the Basic Pearls Jewels while they are still on their sheet. Let dry for a minute then add them to the card.

Season Like Christmas

Christmas cards are super fun to make…there are so many designs, stamp sets and colours that you can use! For this card, I used Night of Navy Cardstock with Whisper White Ink and I’ve always loved that combination!

How To Make This Hand Stamped Christmas Card:

For this card, I started with Night of Navy Cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and then folded at 4 1/4″. I used the splatter stamp from the Every Good Wish stamp set with Whisper White Craft Ink.
Tip: As the Whisper White ink is sponge-like, you will want to just tap on the ink pad a few times. DO NOT PRESS HARD as you will get thick white ink all over.

Cut 2 pieces of White Cardstock; one will be 4 1/4″ x 2″ and the other 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″. Take your Paper Snips and cut “hills” on your cardstock and then take the side of the scissors to rough up the edges. Adhere them to the bottom of the card and stamp your greeting in Night of Navy Ink.

Stamp the Trunk/Branches of your tree in Chocolate Chip Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Use Wild Wasabi Ink to stamp the first layer of your tree on top of the branches. Stamp with Old Olive Ink the next layer of your tree. The best part is that the stamp set is photopolymer…which means that you can see through your stamps! I stamped two trees and then…here comes the fun part! Cut out the trees using Paper Snips! 🙂 Add your trees to the card using Dimensionals.

Next, you’ll add dots of glue with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Let dry before touching.
