Beautiful Peacock for FREE (VIDEO)

HAPPY FRIDAY & HAPPY FEBRUARY! This is the second month of Sale-A-Bration and I love all the wonderful FREEBIES I was able to give out last month wtih our sale!

Today’s card is using a stamp set that you can get FREE until the end of March 2018 and it was such a fun set to play with!

Be a Peacock in a Flock of Pigeons 

Peacocks are such beautiful creatures and this stamp set was so fun to stamp with. The first thing I did was pick the colours I wanted for the peacock. I wanted a card with fresh, bright colours and I love how well Pacific Point & Lemon Lime Twist looked together!

Cake Soiree Birthday Card

Happy Wednesday! Today has been one of those days! You know, the type of day where you just wished you had stayed in bed. I’ve pretty much had pain all day. I did end up going to the Physiotherapist today which has made it manageable enough to “adult”…but, I will kind of wish I hadn’t got out from under my covers. Uggh.

I hope your day is going better! 😉 Enjoy today’s card!

Instructions:

  1.  Score and fold Thick Whisper White cardstock in half to create card.
  2. Use Snail Adhesive to attach the Old Olive and Whisper White panels to card front.
  3. Use Snail Adhesive to attach pink Designer Series Paper onto Whisper White panel.
  4. Use Paper Snips to cut a “v” shape in the small floral Designer Series Paper, creating a banner. Attach to pink Designer Series Paper with Snail Adhesive.
  5. Attach two pieces of Washi Tape from the Embellishment kit below the floral banner.
  6. Make a swirl of Silver Baker’s Twine and position behind one of the Floral die cuts from the Embellishment kit. Attach to card front with Snail Adhesive.
  7. Stamp birthday greeting onto Whisper White cardstock;  use Big Shot and Lots of Labels framelit to cut out.  Attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. To finish the card, place two Glitter Enamel dots onto pink floral Designer Series Paper panel.

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 5 ½” x 8 ½ ”, scored at 4 1/4”;  3 ¾” x 5”;  3 ½” x 2 ½” for word panel
  • Old Olive: 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper – pink pattern 3 ¾” x 3”; floral pattern ½” x 3 ¾”

Floral Statements Hello Card

Hey stampers! I can’t believe January is almost over, can you?! This means the first month of Sale-A-Bration is nearly over too. I love Sale-A-Bration and being able to give so many FREE products to my customers!

Remember, when you spend $60, you get something free! 

Instructions:

  1. Into the Thick Whisper White stamp “Hello” using Memento black ink.
  2. Colour the flowers using the Pool Party combo Stampin’ blends and center using the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ blends.
  3. Colour leaves using the Stampin’ blends combo Old Olive and light daffodil Delight
  4. Stamp the background using the stamp in the Timeless Textures randomly all over.
  5. Assemble basic black cardstock to whisper white cardstock then the stamped thick whisper white onto the basic black.
  6. Colour the White Perfect Accents using the dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and adhere into card front.

You Make Me So Happy Card

It’s Fri-YAY! Do you have big plans for the weekend? My husband is home SICK today so I don’t know that they’ll be much on our agenda, but, I may have to go out on my own tomorrow as I’m a little bored and want to do something! 😉

Today’s card is full of sparkle with the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper and the best part is the stamp set is FREE as part of our Sale-A-Bration sale! 

Instructions:

  1. Adhere Petal Passion Designer Series Paper to the Bermuda Bay card base with SNAIL.
  2. Adhere Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper to card front with SNAIL.
  3. Stamp the Happy Wishes large floral word in Archival Black Ink onto the Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp the coordinating sentiment above the word.
  4. Color in the flowers with Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, Powder Pink and Old Olive inks and a Blender Pen. Squeeze the ink pads before opening to transfer the ink to the lid to use as a palette, then pick up the color and “paint” on color with the Blender Pen.
  5. Color over the flowers with Wink of Stella for some glimmer.
  6. Die-cut the sentiment with the Lots of Labels Framelits, then pop up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
  7. Tie an Old Olive Baker’s Twine bow, then attach with a Mini Glue Dot to the “Y.”
  8. Add a few Rhinestones floating around the word.

Measurements:

  • Bermuda Bay card base: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • Petal Passion DSP: 5-1/4” x “
  • Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper: 5-1/4” x ¾”
  • Whisper White: 4-1/4” x 3-1/4” for die-cutting label
