Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I have to say…mine was great! We had GREAT weather and I got to spend lots of time outside. On Saturday, my little one, who is 11, ran a 5K and did a great job…she rain it in 3omin and 11sec. On Sunday, I had a really nice Mother’s Day and got to be outside for a long walk. I loooove this kind of weather!

Today’s card has some beautiful NEW designer paper that is available this month in one of our Share What you Love bundles! It is gorgeous, don’t you think?!

Measurements:

  • Pear Pizzazz 5 ½” x 8 ½”
  • Rich Razzleberry 4 x 5 ¼”

 

Instructions:

  1. Score the Pear Pizzazz cardstock at 4 ¼” and fold to make card.
  2. Punch out shapes using the Tailored Tag Punch and adhere to background. (Tip: if you punch out your shapes close together, you pattern will look nicer once adhered)
  3. Wrap the Linen Thread around card three times and tie in a bow on right hand side.
  4. Stamp greeting on Very Vanilla cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink, then punch out using the Starburst punch. Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp leaves.
  5. Add dimensional to back of the punched shape and add to card.

Varied Vases with In Colors

Next month, we are getting brand NEW IN COLORS and this card shows the 5 new colours perfectly!! 🙂 

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored and folded at 4-1/4” (card base)
  • Whisper White: 3” x 3” piece + scrap for sentiment
  • 5 strips of 3-3/4” x 1” cardstock – cut one of each of colour from the In Colour pack
  • Grapefruit Grove thin strip

Instructions:

  1. Line up the pieces of coloured cardstock on a piece of grid paper. If desired, you can add a very small amount of SNAIL to the back to hold them down. Stamp the small flower image all over the cut pieces of In Colour cardstock using Versmark ink. Adhere all of the coloured cardstock to the front of the card using SNAIL.
  1. Using Memento ink, stamp the outlines of the vases and orchids onto the 3”x3” piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock and set aside.
  1. Using the coordinating solid stamps, stamp the vase on the left with Pineapple Punch ink and the orchids with Grapefruit Grove ink. Ink the stamp for the vase on the right with Blueberry Bushel. It is a very strong colour, so stamp off on your grid paper before stamping onto the card.  Use the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write maker to draw a thin line below the vases to ground the image.
  1. Using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and your Big Shot, die cut the stamped image. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.  Wrap the Silver Metallic Thread around your fingers three times, cut, and adhere to the dimensionals on the back.  This can now be glued to the card base.
  1. Punch the sentiment using the Classic Label punch. Punch a second label out of Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  Using SNAIL, glue them together, with the sentiment offset from the coloured cardstock. Adhere to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals – note that the right side has a double layer to even out the height.
  1. Add 5 Rhinestones of varying sizes to the card.

Happy Thursday friends!

Measurements:

  • Thick Whisper White:             Card Base 5 ½” x 8 ½
  • Old Olive                                     5 ¼” x 4”
  • Memories & More card 5” x 3 ¾”
  • Fresh Fig Ribbon :           10” 

Instructions:

    1. Fold Whisper White cardstock in half for card base
    2. Adhere Memories & More card to Old Olive cardstock.
    3. Wrap ribbon around bottom of card and tie a knot.
    4. Attach card unit from step #3 to card base.
    5. Using Fresh Fig ink stamp sentiment onto top of card.
    6. Attach 3 small pearl jewels below stamped sentiment.

Almost time for Graduation

Anyone else have a child graduating from High School this year? I cannot believe that my oldest daughter will be all done at the end of June. The time has gone so fast, I remember when she fit it my arms. She’ll be off to College next year taking Advertising and Marketing…I’m so proud of her. She has grown up helping me with my business she was just a little girl and has a really smart mind for business. I’m excited to see where her career will bring her.

Measurements:

  • Island Indigo:             8 1/2” x 5 1/2” (score and fold at 4 1/4”);
  • Crushed Curry: 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Watercolor Paper: 3 ¾” x 5”
  • Whisper White: scrap piece to punch out label.

Instructions:

  1. Sprinkle Brusho colors onto watercolor paper and spritz until desired effect is achieved. Set aside to dry; a heat tool may also be used. TIP: if using a heat tool alternate drying on front and back and be careful not to heat too long or paper will burn.
  2. Stamp large arrow image using black ink. Stamp “so proud of you” inside banner area using Island Indigo ink.
  3. Stamp “happy graduation” onto Whisper White scrap using Island Indigo ink and punch out with label punch. Using Paper Piercer, make a small hole in left end of label piece and tie a bow using linen thread. Attach this element onto left side of arrow.
  4. Adhere enamel dots as desired.
  5. Adhere Crushed Curry piece to card base and then adhere stamped piece.

Bundle It with Petal Palette!

Dimensions:

  • Bermuda Bay 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Scored at 4 1/4”, 4 x 5 ¼”
  • Whisper White 4 x 5 ¼” plus scrap for die cutting
  • Basic Black 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” plus scrap for die cutting

Instructions:

  • Stamp leafy image on white cardstock as shown in Bermuda Bay ink.
  • On white circle, stamp sentiment in Black ink and add dots (stamp off first row below sentiment, then continue with full strength ink. Adhere to a scallop circle diecut from black.
  • Adhere a zig zag of ribbon on white panel and pop circle up on top with dimensionals.
  • Adhere a ¾ x 4” strip of printed paper to top of white panel and then adhere panel to black panel. Adhere to Bermuda Card.
  • Spritz with Black Marker.
