Directions

  1. Adhere the designer papers to the Berry Burst cardstock and then the layer to the card.
  2. Colour the ribbon using the Dark Pumpkin Pie Blend and let dry. Cut both ends in a V then adhere it to the card.
  3. Cut out a 2 7/16″ circle using the Deckled Circles Dies.
  4. Stamp the flower in the middle using the Berry Burst ink pad. Let it dry for a bit or heat set it with the heat tool before doing the greeting.
  5. Stamp the greeting using Versamark ink. Sprinkle the white embossing powder on top, tap off the excess and melt the powder using the Heat Tool.
  6. Use a dauber to pick up ink from the Berry Burst ink pad, then add ink to the edges of the deckled circle. Add circle to the card using Dimensionals.
  7. Add some Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs.

Measurements:

  • Basic Black CS: 5 1/2” x 81/2” scored at 4 1/4”
  • Basic White CS: 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”; 5 1/4” x 4”; plus scraps for die cutting
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP): 5 1/4” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp sentiment in Memento ink on scrap of Basic White cardstock (CS), then cut with large pick die.
  2. Stamp guitar in Memento ink on scrap of Basic White CS. Colour with Real Red Stampin’ Blends; then cut with guitar die.
  3. Colour an adhesive-backed lightning bolt with Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.
  4. Glue 5 3/8” x 4 1/8” Basic White CS layer to front of Basic Black CS base.
  5. Glue DSP layer to Basic White CS layer.
  6. Adhere guitar and sentiment to DSP layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Apply red lightning bolt to sentiment.
  8. Glue 5 1/4” x 4” Basic White CS to inside of card base.

Often, when I make a card, I look at cards I’ve already made or designs online to give me ideas for a new card. The design for the card below was inspired by the Bee My Valentine card that I posted here.

Directions

  1. Place the Basic White cardstock in the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere the layer to the card.
  2. Adhere the Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the card.
  3. Stamp the flowers on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Black Ink.
  4. Colour using Stampin’ Blends. (The flowers were coloured using Melon Mambo, Berry Burst and Highland Heather. The middle of the flowers were coloured using Daffodil Delight. The leaves were coloured with Dark Lemon Lime Twist and Light Mossy Meadow.)
  5. Cut out the flower bundle using the matching die and add to the card using Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp the greeting on the Vellum Cardstock using Stazon Black ink. Let dry or use the Heat Tool to set.
  7. Add glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to each end of the Vellum Cardstock and press the ends to the card holding them down long enough that they stay down.
  8. Add Sequins to the card.

Instructions:

  1. Die cut Highland Heather pieces. Die cut Lemon Lolly pieces.
  2. Stamp sentiment & egg on Very Vanilla. Stamp bunny on Bubble Bath. Die cut sentiment with smallest Scalloped Contours die.
  3. Assemble using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Use Dimensionals under the sentiment banner and the bunny.
