Introducing: Distinktive stamps

The Healing Hugs stamp set is part of Stampin’ Up!’s patent pending Distinktive Stamps line which have photo-realistic images.

Measurements:

  • Lovely Lipstick Cardstock- 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folded in half @ 4 ¼”
  • Whisper White Cardstock- (3 pieces) 3 ½” x 3 ½”, 2 ¼” x 4 ¼”, plus scrap for sentiment and leaves approx. 3” x 3”
  • 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper in Pineapple Punch- 3” x 3”

Instructions:

  1. Fold your card base in half and stamp the image with small plus signs on card front in Lovely Lipstick. The stamp comes from Healing Hugs and I stamped on the top right and bottom left of the card front.
  2. Adhere the 3 ½” x 3 ½” white square to the front of the card. Then layer the Pineapple Punch paper on top, centered.
  3. Take the rectangle Whisper White piece (2 ¼” x 4 ¼”) and stamp two flowers in Lovely Lipstick. Then on your scrap Whisper White piece stamp your sentiment in Memento Black and your leaves in Granny Apple Green.
  4. Punch out the sentiment using the Tailored Tag punch and hand cut your leaves with paper snips.
  5. Attach the rectangle flower piece with dimensionals to the front of your card.
  6. Then, put snail only on the stem part of the leaves and tuck them under each flower. I like the ends of the leaves to lift off the card for dimension.
  7. Add your sentiment to the center with dimensionals.
  8. Lastly, add a few Artisan Pearls.

You Are Wonderful

The Rooted in Nature stamp set has such beautiful details and it almost looks like a real leaf when stamped!  

Measurements:

  • Blackberry Bliss Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”
  • Whisper White Card Stock: 4” x 5 ¼” (x2) one for stamping, the other for the inside
  • DSP:   3” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Add the DSP to the centre of the card front.
  2. Stamp the large leaf image, using blackberry bliss ink, onto one of the pieces of whisper white cardstock.
  3. Stamp the small leaf image, using grapefruit grove ink, onto the same white cardstock.
  4. Cut out both leaves using the coordinating framelits.
  5. Stamp the greeting, using blackberry bliss ink, onto the same white cardstock.
  6. Die cut the greeting using the 4th smallest oval framelit.
  7. Die cut a scallop oval using the 4th smallest scallop oval framelit, from the same white cardstock.
  8. Layer the greeting onto the scallop oval using dimensionals. Add this to the card front.
  9. Add die cut leaves, tucking them under the popped up greeting.
  10. Add a silver leaf trinket using a mini glue dot, tucking it under the greeting.
  11. Separate a couple strands of the grapefruit grove twine, tie a bow and add to the greeting using a mini glue dot or dot of tombow.
  12. Add whisper white cardstock to the inside. Note: you can dress it up a little by stamping a couple leaves.

Hooray for you!

These beautiful gold foil bags are just the perfect size for a card or little gift. You can even stamp, spritz, or brayer on white sections to customize them even more!

Measurements:

  • Whisper White card stock: 2-1/2’ x 4”
  • Lovely Lipstick card stock: 4-1/8” x 2-5/8”
  • Basic Black card stock: Two 1-1/2” x 2-1/2” and a scrap to emboss the words
  • Gold foil sheet:  2-1/4” x 4”
  • Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon: 6-1/2”
  • Gold Mini Sequin trim: Two 2” pieces

Instructions:

  1. Punch one end of both 2-1/2” black card stock pieces using the Triple Banner punch and adhere behind Lovely Lipstick card stock. Adhere to front of Striped Treat bag.
  2. Layer Polka Dot Tulle ribbon across the top of Lovely Lipstick card stock.
  3. Stamp “Hooray” on white card stock with Lovely Lipstick. Add polka dot “Hooray” in black ink on top of Lipstick color.
  4. Adhere a section of gold sequin trim to the back of stamped Hooray piece on either side, then attach over the top of Lipstick card stock layer at a jaunty angle.
  5. Cut Broadway Lights frame from Gold foil sheet in the Big Shot. Attach around the “Hooray” with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Emboss “Let’s Celebrate You” on black card stock with white embossing powder. Once dry, punch out sentiment with Classic Label punch and attach to front of bag with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Varied Vases Thank You card

The stamp set Varied Vases is a very popular stamp set from the new 2018-19 Annual Catalogue. You can get it on its own and as part of a BUNDLE which includes the coordinating punch.

Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2” & scrap
  • Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper 4” x 5-1/4”
  • Crushed Curry 1/2” x 1” for banner
  • Blueberry Bushel 4” x 5-1/4” for die cut floral image

Instructions:

  1. Add Garden impression Designer Series Paper layer to card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  2. Die cut floral corner image on Blueberry Bushel cardstock and a Whisper White Stitched Shapes Framelit oval.
  3. Use a Stampin’ Sponge to add glue to the back of the floral corner image – add to card front.
  4. Stamp vase and flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp flower ends with Blueberry Bushel in and add color with an Aqua Painter to vase and shadow under vase with Blueberry Bushel and Smokey Slate ink.
  5. Add oval to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp THANKS with Blueberry Bushel ink on strip of Crushed Curry cardstock and cut banner in right side.
  7. Add to card front where shown, with Liquid Glue under the left side and a Stampin’ Dimensional under the right side of the banner.

Thinking of You Heron

If you like cards with  a bit more technique…you are going to love this card with a fancy fold! 🙂

Measurements:

  • Pool Party: 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”; scrap (for sentiment)
  • Tranquil Tide: 5 1/2” x 5 1/4”
  • Shimmery White: 3 1/2” x 3 1/2″

Instructions:

  1. Ink Artisan Textures background stamp with Tranquil Tide; stamp off once onto grid paper. Stamp on Tranquil Tide cardstock.  Repeat, stamping randomly over entire background.
  2. Position Tranquil Tide cardstock on Simply Scored so that the width is 5 ¼” and the length is 5 1/2″. Score at 1/2”, 1”, 4 1/4″, and 4 3/4″.
  3. Die-cut circle from center of Tranquil Tide panel.
  4. Using the placement of your die-cut window as a guide, stamp the ripple image from Lilypad Lake in the center of Pool Party cardstock. Stamp again, slightly higher, without reinking the stamp.
  5. Stamp heron and two lily pads onto Shimmery White cardstock with Smoky Slate ink. Use Blender Pens to lightly color the heron with Smoky Slate and the lily pads with Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green.  Finish with Wink of Stella.  Set aside to dry completely.
  6. Fold Tranquil Tide panel on scored lines; adhere to Pool Party panel with Tear & Tape.
  7. Stamp sentiment onto Pool Party scrap with Smoky Slate ink; die-cut with large banner from Lakeside Framelits dies (party of Lilypad Lake bundle.)
  8. Loop gold metallic thread and adhere to back of banner; adhere banner to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere heron and lily pads using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
