Sweet and Simple Thank You

Measurements:

Whisper White: 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ (card base), 5 x 3¾
Basic Black: 5¼ x 4; 3½ x 2¾
Adhesive Sheet 3½ x 2¾
Cherry Cobbler ¼ double stitched Ribbon 5”

Instructions:

Place the Basic Black cardstock in between the adhesive sheet, with the Thank You Thinlits cutting side face down onto the card stock.
Die cut with the Big Shot.
Adhere the die cut Thank You onto the 5 x 3½ Whisper White.
Place in between the Tufted embossing folder and emboss with the Big Shot.
Using the dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend color the raise dots.
Adhere the ribbon on the left side.
Assemble all layers

Life is sweeter with friends

Measurements:

Bermuda Bay – 11” x 4 ¼”
Whisper White – 4” x 5 ¼” plus scrap piece for butterfly

Instructions:

Fold Bermuda Bay cardstock in half to create card base.
From the “Pop of Petals” stamp set, ink the three-flower image with Calypso Coral, Mango Medley and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Right Markers and stamp onto bottom corner of 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White card stock. Re-ink and stamp again, adding as many flowers as desired. Repeat process on top corner of Whisper White layer. Add leaves with Old Olive & Granny Apple Green markers. For purple flowers, ink stem with Mossy Meadow and flowers with Gorgeous Grape markers. Use Blender Pen to pull colour into flowers and leaves.
Ink butterfly image from Pop of Petals set with Bermuda Bay marker on the body and Basic Black on the antennas; stamp onto card front. Re-ink and stamp a second butterfly onto a scrap piece of Whisper White. Colour both butterflies with same markers used on flowers and punch out second butterfly with Four-Petal Flower Punch. Adhere onto card front with liquid glue. Fold up wings.
Draw lines around the card with Bermuda Bay marker.
Stamp sentiment from “Detailed with Love” stamp set using Black Stazon ink pad.
Add Dazzling Diamonds glitter with Fine Tip Glue to flowers and butterfly.
Stamp inside of card as desired.

Limeanade card

With all the beautiful weather we’ve been having…this “Limeanade” card is super fitting, don’t you think?

Cutting Measurements:

Lemon Lime Twist: 5 ½ x 8 ½” card base; ¼ x 3 ½ “ for straw
Basic Black CS: 4 x 5 ¼ ”
Whisper White CS: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 ” and piece for punching
Vellum: 3 x 3 ½”

Instructions:

Create card front from Lemon Lime Twist CS by scoring at 4 ¼”.
Stamp “Happy Birthday” in memento black ink on the bottom of the Wisher White piece. Stamp lemon slice 3 times in Lemon Lime on the left side (make sure you only do halves, otherwise it will be visible through the glass). Adhere White piece to Basic Black CS and then to card base. Set aside.
Let’s create a glass. Lightly mark velum at ¾ from both sides of 3” side (red marks on a diagram below). Using paper trimmer – cut from one corner to a marked point on one side, repeat on another side. Use scoring blade now and create a score line ¼” from a side of the ‘glass’ by aligning a side with ¼ mark on a trimmer. You should get following shape:
Green indicated scored lines. Apply tear tape between the scored line and edge. Fold on a scored line. Sponge the ‘glass’ with sponge dauber and Lemon Lime Twist ink on inside, leave some white space on top.4. Remove tear tape and adhere glass to the card front from step 2. Try to make a shape little round.
5. Stamp 2 more slices on scrap piece of whisper white in Lemon Lime Twist ink. Punch them with 1 ¾” punch. Cut a slit from a side to the center on first piece of lime. Add dimensionals to the back and decorate the glass with it. Cut 3 pieces from second lime. Add dimensionals and add to the bottom of the glass on the right side.
6. Adhere ‘straw’ inside the glass.
