Flower Umbrella & Polka Dot Rain Boots

A little more Spring stamping to share today! What could be better than a cute umbrella and some sweet boots?!

The stamp set “Under My Umbrella” has a coordinating punch when you get the bundle!

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
  • Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼” for the embossed layer
  • Whisper White: 3” x 3”
  • Whisper White: 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
  • DSP: 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” for boots, 1 ½” x 3” for umbrella, 1 ½” x 4” for inside

Instructions:

  1. Stamp the boots in Tuxedo Black ink on to the Designer Paper. Cut out the boots with Paper Snips.
  2. Stamp the umbrella in Tuxedo Black ink on to the Designer Paper, punch out the umbrella with the Umbrella Builder Punch.
  3. Stamp the handle for the umbrella in Tuxedo Black ink on to the 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” piece of Whisper White.
  4. Stamp the inside greeting on to a scrap of Whisper White, punch it out with the Timeless Label Punch.
  5. Fold the card base in half. Adhere the 1 ½” x 4” piece of Designer Paper inside, adhere the inside message to the center of the Designer Paper.
  6. On the front of the card, adhere the embossed floral piece.
  7. With Dimensionals, layer the 3” x 3” piece in the center of the embossed piece, then adhere the 2 ¾” x 2 ¾’ piece with the stamped handle on top of the 3” x 3” piece.
  8. With Dimensionals, adhere the umbrella on to the 2 ¾” square at the end of the handle. Place a Dimensional on the back of the boots and adhere them over the other end of the umbrella handle.
  9. Add 3 Basic Rhinestones.
  10. Wrap a piece of the Crinkled Seam Binding around the top of the card and tie with a knot.

Rest and Relax

Maybe it’s a little to be stamping tropical cards….but, we can always dream can’t we?! 😉

My favourite part of this card is the adorable little pineapple trinket from the Tropical Oasis Trinkets! The Tropical Oasis Trinkets include pineapple, hibiscus, ukulele, and leaf shapes. The trinkets are metal craft embellishments with an antique bronze finish. (24 trinkets: 6 each of 4 designs)

Measurements:

  • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4 ¼” x 11” scored at 5 ½”, 3” x 4” for oval
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 2 7/8” x ¾” strip, approx. 3” x 4” for palms
  • Old Olive Cardstock: approx. 3” x 4”
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock: 3 1/8” x 4 3/8”
  • Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper: 3” x 4 ¼”
  • Braided Burlap Trim: 3”

Instructions:

  1. Start by folding the card base on the score line and layering the Designer Paper and Daffodil Delight Cardstock together using snail and attaching to the card front.
  2. Die cut the Old Olive Cardstock with a scalloped oval and the Crumb Cake Cardstock with a layering oval. Emboss the Crumb Cake oval with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder then attach to the Old Olive oval and then to the card front with Snail Adhesive.
  3. Stamp the palm tree image on Whisper White Cardstock by colouring your stamp with Stampin’ Write markers in Old Olive and Early Espresso. Then, die cut with the coordinating die.
  4. Cut a 3” piece of Braided Burlap Trim and pull on the ends to fray a little bit. Attach it to the Crumb Cake oval with Mini Glue Dots. Then, attach the palm trees with a mix of regular and mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and flag the left side with your paper snips.
  6. Attach the sentiment strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and attach a Tropical Oasis Trinket with a Mini Glue Dot.

You’re So Kind Mosaic

This card uses many different new products from the MINI CATALOGUE!

The stamp set is from the Notes Of Kindness Card Kit. This kit makes 20 cards (3.5″ x 5″) making it easy to create and send some fun and easy cards.

The paper used is from the Mosaic Mood Specialty designer series paper pack.
In this paper pack, you get 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs.

Measurements:

  • Mint Macaron: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
  • Terracotta Tile: 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Very Vanilla: 2 3/4” x 2 3/4”
  • Designer Paper: 5 1/4” x 1 1/2”

Instructions:

  1. Emboss the Terracotta Tile cardstock with the Mosaic 3D embossing folder and attach the layer to the Mint Macaron card base.
  2. Attach the designer paper along the left edge of the Terracotta Tile layer.
  3. Using Soft Suede ink, stamp the greeting onto the Very Vanilla cardstock.
  4. Use the Circle Punch to cut out the stamped greeting
  5. Attach ribbon to the back of the circle.
  6. Attach the circle to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Heartfelt Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is 1 month away and the Heartfelt stamp set is the perfect one to make a card for your special someone! I think it’s the type of set that can be used for so much more than just Valentine’s. This stamp set also comes a bundle with 2 coordinating heart punches.

Measurements:

• Crumb Cake Card Stock: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” (this will be your card base); 3 ¾” x 5” and scrap for scalloped heart
• Whisper White: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and scrap for stamping
• Linen Thread: 8”

 

Instructions:

1. Emboss the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of crumb cake with the coastal weave embossing folder.
2. Add the embossed cardstock to the center of the white cardstock and that to the card front.
3. Stamp the Happy Valentine’s Day greeting using real red ink onto a scrap of whisper white and punch it out using the coordinating punch.
4. Punch out a scalloped heart from crumb cake cardstock.
5. Stamp the arrow image using memento black ink and fussy cut it.
6. Add the arrow to the back of the stamped heart. Add that to the scalloped heart using dimensionals.
7. Add the heart to the card front using dimensionals.
8. Tie a bow from linen thread and add it to the card front.

Honey Bee Shaker Card

Here’s another super sweet card using HoneyBee and the best part is that it’s a Shaker card!!

Measurements:

• Mango Melody: 5 ½” x 8 ½” score 8 ½” side at 4 ¼” (card base) and scrap for honeycomb die
• Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4” and scrap for bee die
• Daffodil Delight: scraps for bee and honeycomb dies
• Window Sheet 3 ½” x 3 ½”

Instructions:

1. Fold Mango Melody c/s in half. This is your card base.
2. Stamp beehive in Mango Melody ink in the center of Whisper White c/s. Cut out with beehive die. Set aside.
3. Take Mango Melody Pigment Sprinkles and sprinkle Mango Melody sprinkles to the bottom half of Whisper White cardstock and Daffodil Delight sprinkles to the top of Whisper White cardstock. Blend using Aquapainter. Set aside to dry with a heavy object to weigh it down.
4. Take Daffodil Delight scrap and cut out honeycomb and larger bee using dies. Save all the centers of the honeycomb.
5. Take Mango Melody scrap and cut out honeycomb. Save centers of honeycomb as well.
6. Stamp bee in Tuxedo Black on Whisper White scrap and cut out. Colour in with Blender Pens. Adhere to Daffodil Delight bee with Stampin’ Dimensional. Set aside.
7. Place Whisper White sheet with beehive cut out centered on the front of the card base. Glue cutout beehive to cardbase through the hole in Whisper White piece. Lift off the Whisper White piece. Place about 10 Mango Melody honeycomb centers and 10 Daffodil Delight honeycomb centers on the beehive.
8. Glue Window Sheet to back of Whisper White c/s. Adhere foam strips to back of Whisper White piece over Window Sheet around beehive.  Also, cut out 4 pieces for corners of cardstock. Peel off backing and stick to the front of Mango Melody over honeycomb centers.
9. Glue honeycombs to top right and bottom left. Randomly glue in some of the centers of the honeycomb.
10. Adhere bee to the bottom right of the beehive with another Stampin’ Dimensional.
