Each week, my Inky Divas group has a stamp challenge and this week it's a colour challenge! We've already has so many great shares in our exclusive facebook group AND this week I challenged my daughter Kyla to work with these colours.

She started with a swap I received from Karen Harper at convention and re-created it with these colours.

The third and final day of Convention 2013 was all about fun, learning, recognition . . . and lots and lots of prize patrols.

This year, EVERYONE at convention won a prize patrol gift–as part of Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary! There were even 25 lucky ladies at the end who won EVERY STAMP SET FROM THE HOLIDAY CATALOGUE!! WOW

We got to see more stamping and business presentation and of course fun announcements on new contests and programs!

The morning session also included fantastic commercial contest entries. Here's the one Connie Stewart (my fabulous partner of the Stampin' Girls Gone Wild Club) made. Though she didn't win, I think she did a fabulous job, don't you?!

After a full day of enjoying classes and we met for the final session of Convention 2013.

Amy Swartz also introduced demonstrators to Professor Penny–a brand new business resource making it even better to be a demonstrator!!

 

Shelli ended Saturday's afternoon session by affirming her commitment to innovation. Said Shelli: "If you're one of those personalities who are comfortable with the familiar and are a little hesitant to change, hold on tight! We love you, we're committed to you, and we're going to rock your boat–in a very good way! And if you're one of those personalities who love innovation and change, welcome aboard! We're going to have a lot of fun together in the coming months and years!"

I seriously am excited to see what Stampin' Up! has in store for us for the next 25 years…I plan on never leaving- I truly love this company! They have blessed my life in more ways then I can count.

 

Friday morning started with another general session beginning with Sara Douglass reminiscing about the first convention she ever attended in 1993, when she was twelve years old.

It's amazing to see the history of Stampin' Up!, I can hardly believe that I personally have been doing this for 11 years.

Sara mentionned that Stampin' Up! conventions seems "like a family reunion–a very LARGE family reunion," and I truly agree!

During this session Stampin' Up! recognized many different achievements and it was so wonderful to clap for all the amazing demonstrators who achieved so much.

Shelli Gardner followed Sara with a stamping presentation featuring 25 projects (for 25 years)! She introduced two new products, the Label Card Thinlits Die and the Circle Card Thinlits Die coming August 1st, and demonstrated exciting, innovative ways to use these fun new products. *New product alert!!!*

Shannon West also introduced two new products–the Envelope Punch Board- soon available- and the Undefined Stamp Carving Kit-now available. You should have heard the cheering and excitement!!  *New product alert!!*

I'm so pumped for the Envelope Punch Board…it makes envelopes in so many different sizes and is quite affordable…I cannot wait till it comes out! I can't show you what it looks like YET…but, here's a sneak peek of what you can make!

Friday evening's Awards Night was short and sweet but just as fabulous.

This year, I was once again honoured to be in the Top 20 in Canada…along with 3 other Inky Divas!! Here's a photo of Jen Dimarco & I…she earned for the first time this year and it was so exciting to see her tears of joy!

Those in the Top 20 in Canada and Top 100 in the US also earn a free Founder's Circle Trip to St. George, Utah in September. This trip is truly a reflection of how we are loved and appreciated by Stampin' Up! We get pampered like crazy!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank YOU my customers, blog readers and Inky Divas team….without you- I could not have earned this award and trip. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I am blessed to have you all in my life!

This year's Awards Night achievers were also presented with gorgeous Hawaiian leis–and we didn't know then but those flowers were a hint of the announcement of our next incentive to which will be held in Oahu, Hawaii.  🙂

Awards Night was followed by an amazing After Party Celebration with aerial ballet, photo ops, live music, interactive activities, and delicious refreshments. They went all out!

Hi Friends!!!

Last week was our Stampin' Up! Convention and I have to say- I had a great time spending 3 days with 5800 of my stamping friends!!! Being a demonstrator, truly is just that…making new friends through stamping! Check out the picture below….THAT IS A LOT OF HAPPY STAMPERS!!!

Today, we had our Inky Divas Team Lunch and it was so great to meet up with new and old friends across Canada. We went to Bucca Di Peppo, a fabulous italian restaurant. I handed out my team gifts, chatted with everyone, had prizes and gave out the certificates to my Top 20 for the year. We filled the whole room with around 80 Inky Divas in attendance at this year's convention.

The welcome lunch with my group at these large Stampin' Up! events, is truly a highlight for me since many Inky Divas live across Canada so it's a great time to chat and get to know them better. I LOVE MY GROUP….we are truly a wonderful community of stampers!!! (This is only part of the room…you can't see the other side)

On Thursday night, we had our first general session which began with Shelli Gardner kicking off Stampin' Up!'s historic 25th anniversary party by welcoming demonstrators from all over the globe–even those who joined the event via the live streaming broadcast on YouTube.

We also got to hear from Pam Morgan, vice president of demonstrator and employee development, as she WOW'd us with her fun stamping presentation. She gave tips on gorgeous cards that we could make using the free stamp sets we received at convention.

After the session, we got to participate in an Opening Social which included a Guinness World Records challenge; a service project; Learning Labs, including a Social Media Lab, a Recruiting Lab, a Booking Lab, and a Paper Pumpkin Lab. There was so much to see…we couldn't possibly not see it all.
