Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Wednesday- Hey There Buds Thank You Card

Hey everyone! Connie here! I’m so glad it’s Wednesday! I have had this card in my head for awhile and I am excited to share it with you.

Today is a TWO for ONE card. When you make one card, you have a leftover piece so you might as well make a 2nd card. Gotta love that!

It's super easy and this layout can be used with so many different stamps! Change the sentiment, change the main stamp, and the layout works great!

Here are some measurements in case you missed them:

Mossy Meadow cardstock – 8 1/2” x 5 1/2" – score at 4 1/4”

Strawberry Slush cardstock – 4” x 5 1/4” – mark at 1 3/4” on both sides

Whisper White cardstock – 3/4” x 3 1/4” (this could vary based on your sentiment)

Good Morning!

Can you believe it? It's the end of August! Where did the summer go? Hopefully we at least continue to get some of this summer weather to enjoy!

With the end of August comes the end of some promotions 🙁 Check the end of this post for more info! Don't miss out!

Now, I have a wonderful card to share with you today! I love this colour combination! Did you know you can colour the Stampin' Up Pearls with the Blendabilities??? With the Blendabilities that package of pearls, rhinestones or brads can be coloured to match your projects!

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets –Sweetbriar Rose, Papillon Potpourri

• Card Stock – So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White

• Ink – Memento Black, Blackberry Bliss

• Blendabilities – Coastal Cabana, Whisteria Wonder, Color Lifter

• Accessories: Blackberry Bliss Ribbon Stitched Satin Ribbon, Basic Pearls colored with Coastal Cabana Blendabilities

• Punches: Elegant Butterfly, ½” Circle

• Big Shot: Arrows Emobssing Folder, Party Pennants Bigz L Die

Measurements (in inches):

Whisper White – 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4 1/4

Blackberry Bliss – 5 1/4 x 4

Coastal Cabana –5-1/8 x 3-7/8

Instructions:

1. At the Texture Boutique embossing machine add texture to the Coastal Cabana card stock with the embossing folder. Layer onto the Blackberry Bliss card stock and then onto the main card.

2. Stamp the Sweetbriar Rose image with Blackberry Bliss ink onto the pre-cut out So Saffron Pennants tag. Punch two half circles on either side of the tag at the top. Tie ribbon around the tag so it fits into the half circles. Layer onto the pre-die cut Blackberry Bliss Pennants tag. 3-d tag onto the front of the card with Dimensionals.

3. Add colored pears (pre colored with Coastal Cabana Blendabilities) to the flowers.

4. Stamp the butterfly using the Memento ink pad onto the Whisper White card stock and allow time to dry. Color the butterfly with the Coastal Cabana and Wistera Wonder Blendeabilities. Let dry and punch it out with butterfly punch.

5. Stamp the Sweetbriar Rose inside the card and envelope to match.
