Today I thought I would show you one of the cards we made in last month's card class!

You've Got This

I love how the Watermelon Wonder really stands out against the Basic Gray background-and I LOVE that script Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals Colour Collection. The flower was coloured using Stampin' Write markers directly on the flower, colouring over sections again to create shadow areas on the flower.

Rounding out the corners using the Project Life Corner Rounder punch adds a bit of a 'punch' to the card

Definitely Dahlia & Happy Notes

Good Morning!

Today I wanted to show you a striking card! I just love the pop of colours on this one and quite honestly it's a super simple one to make 🙂

Here are the supplies used on this card:

Measurement:

Smokey Slate: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded in half at 4 ¼”

Layer 2: 5 x 3 ¾” Night of Navy
Layer 3: 4 7/8” x 3 5/8” So Saffron

Layer 4: 4 ¾” x 3 ½” Shimmer White

5” Piece of Navy Blue Seam Binding

So Saffron Scraps for Flower Punches

Instructions:

Using So Saffron Ink, Ink up the large Dahlia stamp while it is laying on the table. Lay the shimmer white cardstock on top, and add a piece of paper over the top. Smooth the ink on the paper by using your open hand to make sure the stamp touches every part of the shimmer white paper.
Stamp the wedding day sentiment in Night of Navy ink.
Attach layers 4, 3 and 2 together using fast fuse adhesive. Flip all the layers over and add adhesive down the edges of the back. Attach the ribbon to the back using fast fuse adhesive and stick the end between the layers. Add a little fast fuse to the front to tack the ribbon down.
Punch out 3 flowers and attach the to the card with glue dots
Apply pearls to the middle of the flowers

Endless Birthday Wishes Butterfly

Hello! Happy Friday!!

I've got a simply gorgeous card to start off your weekend 🙂

Supplies used:

Measurements:

Whisper White – 4-1/4” x 8-1/2”; 4” x 4”
Basic Black – 3-3/4” x 3-3/4”
Old Olive – 2” x 4”
Any Designer Series Paper – 3-3/4” x 3-3/4” ( I suggest Pretty Petals or English Garden DSPs)

Instructions:

Fold white cardstock in half for the cardbase.
Stamp sentiment from Endless Birthday Wishes in black ink onto 4”x4” white cardstock.
Adhere to card base with Stampin’ dimensionals.
Use Butterfly Thinlit die to cut black cardstock through Big Shot –
Use the magnetic cutting board to hold it in place and a dryer sheet or wax paper in between the cardstock and the die to make it easier to remove the cut!
Cut the Designer Series Paper using the matching sized Bold Butterfly Framelit
Adhere butterfly pieces together with liquid glue; then, onto card with Stampin’ dimensionals.
Punch out 2 leaves with bird builder punch; adhere under butterfly.
