Good Morning! 

Today I wanted to show you a fairly simple Christmas card to make- lots of stamping and little cutting 🙂 

 This card really was quite simple to make. I started with a Soft Sky cardstock base and then added a layer of Crushed Curry.

Then on a layer of Shimmering White cardstock I stamped the Watercolor Wash background stamp in Soft Sky. Then, I stamped the branch and the bird outlines in Basic Black and then stamped the solid matching stamps in Chocolate Chip and Real Red, also stamping the berries on the tree in Real Red. I used a Crushed Curry marker to color in the beak, but you can also use the matching stamp to stamp the beak color instead.

I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp to stamp Crushed Curry and Real Red splashes of color on the corners. 

I then tied the Real Red Striped ribbon around the layer and tied a knot. Then adhered it to the card base. 

As the final touch, I added some Dazzling Details to the branch and berries and allowed it to dry.

Good Morning!

Sometimes it can be fun to create a Christmas card that is far from traditional. I love to experiment with different color combinations, and today's card is a different take and makes great use of Stampin' Up's Note Card set and Washi Tape for a quick way to get some cards done!

• Fold a note card in half and add three strips of the Washi Tape.
• Stamp greeting on one of the scraps and punch with the Washi Label Punch.
• Stamp the snowflake grouping in Versamark onto another scrap, cover with Silver Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
• Punch with the Snow Flurry Punch.
• Add the greeting and snowflakes to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Die cut the 5×5 square with the middle sized envelope framelit.  Slide into the envelope and adhere with a bit of SNAIL at the top

Good day!

Today's card is a different take on building a poinsettia flower! 

• Start your card with a Cherry Cobbler card base and then adhere Old Olive and Smoky Slate pieces.
• On one piece of Whisper White, stamp sentiment from To You and Yours Too in Cherry Cobbler about 1/4" from base in centre. Tie Gold Cording Trim around this layer in a bow. Slide to place above sentiment.
• On your second piece of whisper white stamp your candles as shown on the card. Ink up flame stamp in Daffodil Delight and colour centre with Tangelo Twist Stampin Write Marker and stamp 3 times. Stamp 12 flames in Old Olive (leaves) and 20 flames in Cherry Cobbler (petals). You can stamp a few extra leaves and petals in case you use more than I did.
• Using Paper Snips cut out your candles, flames, leaves and petals. Adhere Candles and Flames to card as shown.
• To assemble your flower make your top layer – I used 5 petals for this – then add layers in gaps between petals. Use glue dots to hold your pieces together. Once you are happy with your poinsettia flower add your leaves again using glue dots.
• Adhere flower to card with snail – I did 3 or 4 strips where I wanted to place my flower overlapping the strips of snail.  Adhere three yellow candy dots to top of flower
• Randomly place small rhinestones to card around candles and flowers.
