Happy Anniversary owls

Measurement:

  • Pretty Peacock: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
  • Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside,2nd largest circle from the stitched shapes dies and scrap for stamping
  • Cajun Craze: 2nd smallest circle from the stitched shapes dies
  • Bumblebee: 2” x 2 ½”
  • Plaid DSP: 2” x 3 ¾”

 Instructions:

  1. Add the plaid designer series paper to the top of the card front, leaving an even border at the top and two sides.
  2. Flag one end of the bumblebee cardstock and add it to the card front.
  3. Stamp ‘happy anniversary’ using memento ink onto the white stitched circle.
  4. Add that to the card base using dimensionals.
  5. Using the black Stampin’ Write marker, ink just the branch of the stamp with the owl couple and stamp it onto the cajun craze stitched circle.
  6. Ink that same stamp with Memento and stamp it onto a scrap of whisper white cardstock.
  7. Colour it in using Stampin’ Blends – owls were coloured with cinnamon cider and their feet with basic black.
  8. Die-cut the owls using the coordinating die and add them to the card front using dimensionals.
  9. Colour one large and two small rhinestones with the dark pretty peacock stampin’ blends and add those to the card front as shown.

Belated Birthday Wishes

I’ve posted so many Christmas cards lately, maybe it’s time for some non-Christmas cards! 😉 I love the rainbow “birthday” greeting cut out with our Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Basic Black: scraps

Instructions:

  1. Cut out a Whisper White large flower with the floral die from the Many Layered Blossoms Die and adhere to the card base.
  2. Cut the birthday sentiment from the Well Written Dies with Rainbow Glimmer Paper and adhere to a scrap of black. Use Paper Snips to fussy cut around sentiment and add to card with dimensionals.
  3. Ink both sentiment images in Versamark and stamp on scraps of black. Cover with white Stampin’ Emboss Powder, tap off the excess and set with Heat Tool. Cut around the words and adhere to the card.
  4. Adhere Artistry Blooms Sequins as shown.

Freezin’ Fun Friends

These cute little characters are so cute for Christmas cards with snow scenes.

Measurements

  • Night of Navy: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Directions

  1. Adhere the designer paper to the folded card.
  2. Take the stitched curve die to cut Whisper White cardstock. I used 2 pieces of cardstock and for the shorter piece, I adhered it upside down so that the slope went the other way. Stamp greeting using Night of Navy ink, then adhere both pieces to the card.
  3. Stamp all the images on Shimmery White cardstock, then colour each with Stampin’ Blend marker. Cut each out using the matching die.
  4. Add Shimmery Crystal Effects to the white parts of the trees and let dry. Once dry, adhere them to the card.
  5. Place the seal approximately where you will add it to the card (for positioning) and stamp the stitched swirl lines using Gray Granite ink.
  6. Place the bunny and the seal to the card using Dimensionals.
  7. Add some Adhesive-backed Snowflakes to the card.

Embrace Each Moment

Sometimes you just need an extra card for your loved one.

Measurements: 

  • Seaside Spray: 11” x 4-1/4”. Score and fold at 5-1/2”
  • Basic Black:  5-1/4” x 4”
  • Whisper White:  3-1/2” x 2-3/4”  AND ½” x 3-1/4”
  • Brights Designer Paper: 4” x 1” (Flirty Flamingo pattern)
  • 2019-2021 In Color Designer Paper:  3-1/4” x 2-3/4” (Seaside Spray pattern)

Instructions:

  1. Fold Card Base on score line.
  2. Emboss the Basic Black Cardstock layer using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Dip the sponge onto the white ink pad and sponge very lightly over the embossing (make sure the brick lines are facing upwards). Glue to card base.
  3. Glue the Flirty Flamingo Designer Paper layer to card front about ¾” from the bottom, horizontally.
  4. Glue the Seaside Spray Designer Paper to card front at an angle as shown in the photo.
  5. Stamp the image on the Whisper White Cardstock layer using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Colour the image with the Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs.
  6. Highlight the outside of the stamped image by tracing with the Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker. Use the Color Lifter to soften the So Saffron edges. Glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Stamp the sentiment on the strip of Whisper White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Cut both ends using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Glue over the stamped image layer.
  8. Add the white Elegant Faceted Gems over the Seaside Spray Designer Paper layer, at the top left-hand corner vertically.

Merry Christmoose

Here is my super cute moose card that I made yesterday. Even though it’s sunny out today, it’s only a short time until the snow will be falling. I’m building up my Christmas card stash so I’ll be ready to send them out on time this year!!

With this card, I started with it being simple and then decided to add some rhinestones and ribbon. 🙂

 

Dimensions

  • Shaded Spruce: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Crumb Cake: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Stamp trees across the Whisper White cardstock using the Shaded Spruce ink pad.
  2. Use a dauber or a sponge to add some Coastal Cabana ink to the sky. (I personally used one of those oval makeup brushes with a handle. I don’t normally give outer links here, but, these are great! click here)
  3. Stamp the star on top of the tree using Mango Melody ink.
  4. Place the cardstock in the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and roll it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to add texture. Adhere the cardstock to the card.
  5. Stamp moose on Shimmery White cardstock using Memento ink. Colour with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, then cut out using the Moose Punch.
  6. Stamp the scarf on Whisper White cardstock with Real Red ink. Cut out using Paper Snips and adhere to the moose.
  7. Stamp the greeting on to a piece of 3/4″ Whisper White, use the Banners Pick a Punch to cut out the end. Add to the card with dimensionals.
  8. Make a bow using the Real Red Braided Linen Ribbon and add to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  9. Add Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the feature tree.
