Now, onto today's card! This card features the Picture Perfect stamp set in this beach inspired look.

Picture Perfect, hand made card, Stampin' Up

How to Make It:

1.   Stamp 2 Starfish in Versamark Ink on Whisper White paper. Emboss using White Emboss Powder. Sponge around image using Crushed Curry ink, gradually fading out from the image. Wipe image off with a tissue.
2.   On the 3 ½ x 3 ½ piece of Whisper White, stamp Starfish in Versamark Ink. Emboss in Gold Emboss Powder. Cut out.
3.   Stamp saying in Versamark Ink. Emboss in Gold Emboss Powder. Trim edge with the Banner Triple Punch.
4.   Assemble card. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals on both pieces of Whisper White. Use Glue Dots to adhere Gold Sequins.

Birthday Blooms & Suite Sayings: Thinking of You card

Hello! Happy Friday!

Are you looking forward to the weekend? Here in Ottawa we are supposed to see some amazing warm temperatures this weekend! I can't wait! Isn't it crazy how we can have snow one day and wear flip flops the next?

Today's card us a fairly simple card to make. A little bit of color therapy on this one I had some fun coloring the flower from Birthday Blooms and I even added a little Wink of Stella for some bling!

I love using the Whisper White Thick for the card base too- so sturdy!

How to Make It:

Punch the Silver Foil strip with Confetti Heart Border Punch and adhere to the Whisper White Thick card base (save some of the punched hearts!)
Stamp the flower and sentiment on the Whisper White piece with Archival Basic Gray ink, colour with Stampin’ Write Markers
Punch the two opposite corners using Project Life Corner Punch
Tie a piece of Silver Baker’s Twine around the layer, then adhere to the card front
Using 2 Way Glue Pen, adhere a few of the silver hearts from the punched background
Then use the Wink Of Stella Clear to add a little bling to the flower

Party With Cake- Birthday card

Good day!

Today's card is a quick and easy birthday card that you can make in a jiffy- especially when you realize you forgot to make one! This card using the Party With Cake stamp set to create a fun backdrop for the sentiment.

How to Make It:
1.   Emboss the card front using Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
2.   Stamp the Whisper White layer using Tangering Tango, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo
3.   Stamp the sentiment in Basic Black
4.   Adhere the stamped layer to the Bermuda Bay layer
5.   Tie Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon and adhere the whole thing to card front

Balloon Celebration: Birthday card without balloons!

Hello!

If you read my blog often enough, you may have heard me say often that I just LOVE versatile stamp sets. I love a stamp set that can do more than it looks like it can. The Balloon Celebration stamp set is one of those! When you look at the stamps, you may only see balloons. But, when you have a good look, you may see this….a dandelion!

How to Make It:
1.   Cut the card base, score and fold
2.   Take a large acrylic block and dab the Pool Party ink pad onto the surface, spray with water from the Stampin’ Spritzer and then place the Shimmery White cardstock onto it to transfer the ink; allow to dry
3.   Cut the Pool Party piece and run through the Big Shot in the Softly Falling TIEF, adhere to the card base with SNAIL adhesive
4.   Stamp the sentiment onto the card front
5.   Once the Shimmery White layer is dry, stamp the ‘flower’ using the stem stamp and piecing together the small and large individual ‘seeds’ to create the flower
6.   Adhere to the Basic Black mat and adhere to the card front
7.   Use Tear & Tape adhesive to add a strip of Pool Party Glitter ribbon to the card front
8.   Then use a Glue Dot to add a Botanical Garden Jewel
9.   As a final touch, use Clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the stamped image
