You’re So Sweet

Good day!

I am back with another simple and cute card using the NEW stamp set 'You're So Sweet'! What I love about this stamp set is how it coordinates with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits! In case you missed it, you can see a round up of other cute cards using this set on one of My Crafty Friends Monday posts.

You're So Sweet by StampingJo

This card uses the NEW and superly awesome Whisper White Thick Cardstock! You are going to LOVE this thick cardstock- it is so sturdy for card bases and embosses amazingly too!

Then I added a layer of Bermuda Bay that I embossed with the Elegant Dots Textured Embossing folder. Beforing adhering that layer on, I wrapped some coordinating Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine and tied it on.

Next, I used Cucumber Crush ink to stamp the 'hello' star shaped stamp from You're So Sweet onto regular Whisper White cardstock and used the matching star die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to cut out the start shape. Then, on another piece of Whisper White cardstock I added a few strips of the Cherry on Top Washi tape and then cut both the stamped layer and the washi layer with the same Circle Framelit and adhered them together. That circle was added to the Bermuda Bay layer and to finish off the card, I added a White Perfect Accent to the bow I tied with the twine.

That's it! Simple and cute!

Good Morning!

Thanks for stopping by today! I've got a cute summer card for you today! There is just something about ice cream and the fun colours/designs of the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper that just screams SUMMER!

Sprinkles of Life by StampingJo

I used one of the NEW In-Colors: Watermelon Wonder for the card base, then layered a lace doily and some Cherry On Top Washi tape. I used the NEW Banner Triple punch to create the Whisper White banner and of course I used the NEW Tree Builder punch and Sprinkles of Life stamp set to create the ice cream with the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper. The cone itself was stamped in the NEW In Color: Tip Top Taupe.

Using dimensionals on the ice cream punch outs really gives it a punch! 🙂 Of course the sentiment, from Sprinkles of Life, was stamped, then washi tape added and then punched out with the circle punch and layered with the scallop circle punch!

Good Morning!

Thanks for stopping by today! I wanted to show you two new products you may not have noticed in the NEW 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue: the Corrugated Paper in Kraft & White and the Whisper White Thick cardstock!

You're So Sweet, Flower Fair corrugated flower- stampingjo

The card base is a super sturdy one using the NEW Thick Whisper White cardstock- which is especially perfect for the Corrugated paper layer! Although the corrugated paper is quite light, it really stands up nicely on the thicker 100lb cardstock.

I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit to cut out the label from the Corrugated paper, and then stamped and cut the 'Just For You' from You're So Sweet on regular Whisper White cardstock and inserted it into the corrugated cut out and adhered both pieces to the Thick cardstock.

Then, I used the Flower Fair Thinlits to cut some Melon Mambo and Always Artichoke cardstock to create the flower and leaves. I embossed the middle flower layer with the NEW Elegant Dots Textured Embossing Folder and the leaves were embossed with the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder. Everything was added to the Corrugated paper layer with dimensionals.

To finish off the flower, I added a NEW Metal Rimmed Pearl to the center 🙂

My Crafty Friends Monday- 112

Welcome to week 112! of "My Crafty Friends Monday!"

This week's featured stamp set is "Sprinkles of Life " ( 139971 Photopolymer) AND it coordinates with the Tree Builder Punch

Stampin' Up! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date Stampin' Up has contributed over $1,000,000 to RHMC and their network of local RMHC Chapters. When you buy the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set, they donate a portion of the proceeds to RMHC.

This stamp set really is a super versatile set! While I was looking for samples I came across so many amazing projects, but I really wanted to show you some of the different ways this stamp set is being used! World’s Greatest Husband

Hello! Happy Friday!!

Welcome back! As promised here is another Father's Day card idea, just in time for this weekend 🙂

Supplies Used:

Measurements:

Basic Black Card Base: 4 ¼ x 11
Very Vanilla insert for inside of card: 4 x 5 ¼
Gold Foil: 3 3/8 x 4 5/8
Striped DSP: 3 ¾ x 5
Striped DSP for inside: ¾ x 4 ¼
Scraps of Vanilla for the car and the banner

Instructions:

Stamp Banner, Car and Husband (or other word) on the 3 ¾ x 5 piece.
Stamp Banner and Car on scraps. Color car and cut out. I didn’t cut the wheels out just the body of the car. Attach to the stamped image with dimensionals. Cut banner out and attach with dimensionals as well.
Color Rhinestones with Black Sharpie and add to card (wait for them to dry)
Assemble Card.
Attach the striped mat to the Black Card Base
Attach the image piece to the Gold Piece and attach to card using dimensionals.
Add strip of striped dsp to the inside bottom of the card
