Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop: Color Challenge

Hello!

Welcome back to the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This time around our theme is a 'Color Challenge'! The challenge was to use:

Here is the card I ended up with.

StampingJo Balloon Celebration, hand made birthday card, hand stamped, washi tape, gold wink of stella

How to Make It:

Cut the card base from Lost Lagoon, then a layer of Blackberry Bliss and then Whisper White. Adhere the layers to the card front.
On a seperate piece of Whisper White, stamp the ballons from Balloon Celebration in Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey
Punch them out using the Balloon Bouquet punch.
Stamp the balloon 'strings' with Tuxedo Black ink onto the Whisper White card front, then begin adhering the balloons, adding the first few with SNAIL Adhesive or Glue Dots and then adding a few with Stampin' Dimensionals to get a 3D look
Use the Hello Honey Washi Tape from the Botanical Garden Washi Tape and add a few strips to the card front
Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White and punch it out using the Washi Label punch; add it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals
As a final touch, add strips of Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the washi tape strips and add a few random Rhinestones and color those with the Gold Wink of Stella

Balloon Celebration Birthday Card

Hello! Happy Friday!

Today's card is a fun and easy card, perfect for a Birthday celebration using Balloon Celebration!

Tips to Make It:
1.   Stamp the background images from Balloon Celebration using Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay ink
2.   Adhere to the Melon Mambo mat layer and add to card front
3.   Punch balloons with the Balloon Bouquet Punch from the Shine On Designer Series Paper, add Stampin’ Dimensionals then add strings of Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon and adhere to the card front
4.   Slide a Bow Paperclip onto the Whisper White and ribbon
5.   Stamp sentiment and punch with Washi Label punch

Apple of My Eye-You’re the Sweetest

Good Day!

Today's card is a super easy and 'sweet' card 🙂 This card uses Apple of My Eye.

Tips to Make It:
1.   Emboss the card base using the Big Shot and the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing folder.
2. From the Apple of My Eye stamp set, stamp the sentiment, stem and leaves on the Whisper White piece.
3.   Stamp the cherries on a Whisper White scrap and punch using ½” circle punch, adhere to the stamped layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals; Trim the dimensionals around the cherries if you need to.
4.   Add to Old Olive layer and tie the Satin Stitched Watermelon Wonder ribbon onto the front
5.   Adhere to card front using Tear & Tape

Friends & Flowers Easter Bunny Card

Hello!

Today I've got a super cute Easter card to show you! This card uses two stamp sets: Friends and Flowers and Suite Sayings.

Tips to Make It:
1.   Stamp the bunny face from Friends and Flowers using Watermelon Wonder and punch out using the 1 3/8” circle punch
2.   Stamp the ears from Friends and Flowers and punch out using the Festive Flower Builder Punch
3.   Cut the body for the bunny using the smallest circle from the Circle Framelits and ink the edges with Watermelon Wonder marker
4.   Adhere the pieces together using Glue Dots to make the bunny and add a Honeycomb Embellishment tail
5.   Stamp the sentiment from Suite Sayings and cut it out using Deco Label framelits, cut mat from Watermelon Wonder using the next size framelit; adhere layers together
6.   Punch a notch in the top of the mat using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch and tie Pool Party Glitter ribbon through it
7.   Adhere the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper to the card front, then adhere the rest of the layers to finish off the card
