Happy Celebrations Stamp Set: Celebrate Your Day

Posted on March 29, 2017March 27, 2017 by Josee

Hello! Today's card is a simple, stamped card using the  Happy Celebrations stamp set as well as the Oh So succulent stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. I love the Spring feel of this card!

Happy Celebrations stamp set, Oh So Succulent stamp set, Stampin Up, hand stamped card, celebrate card

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

I started this card with a Cucumber Crush cardstock base, then I cut a layer of Whisper White cardstock.

With Peekaboo Peach ink I stamped the 'Celebrate' word from the Happy Celebrations stamp set, then I stamped 'your day' with Cucumber Crush ink.

Making sure to leave some space in between for the ribbon, I stamped the bold flowers from the Oh So Succulent stamp set all over the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock layer with Crushed Curry ink.

Then, I went back over the flowers with the outline stamp from the Oh So Succulent stamp set and added another layer on each flower with the Peekaboo Peach ink.

I cut a piece of the Cucumber Crush Striped Ribbon, adhering it to the back of the layer, adhered the cardstock to the card base and then tied another piece of ribbon so that it would look like the piece had been tied around the whole layer.

Stampin' Up Stamps:

Happy Celebrations-143012 (photopolymer), Oh So Succulent-142992 (photopolymer)

Stampin' Up Paper:

Suite Sentiments Stamped Thank You card

Posted on March 28, 2017March 27, 2017 by Josee

Hello! Today's card is a simple, stamped thank you card using the Suite Sentiments stamp set from Stampin' Up's 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Athough this card came together quickly and easily, I love the way it turned out!

Stamped Thank You card, Stampin Up, Suite Sentiments stamp set, Happy Celebrations stamp set

How To Make This Hand Stamped Thank You Card:

I started by cutting and scoring the Basic Black cardstock base.

On the Whisper White cardstock layer (5.25”x2.5”), I used the paint stroke stamp from the Happy Celebrations stamp set to stamp Blushing Bride ink all over to create a background.

Then I used the small print ‘Thanks’ stamp from the Suite Sentiments stamp set and Basic Black ink to stamp over the Blushing Bride stamped background; I then adhered it to the card base.

I cut the Blushing Bride cardstock to 5.25”x 1” and then cut the strip in half again so each side was a 1/2" wide and placed them side by side in the Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and ran them through the Big Shot; I adhered both with SNAIL Adhesive above and below the stamped background.

On a scrap of Whisper White, I stamped the ‘Many Mini Thanks’ stamp from the Suite Sentiments stamp set and used the 1 3/8” Circle Punch to punch it out.

I then used the 1 ¾” Circle Punch to punch out a Basic Black circle to mat the greeting.

To finish off the card, I adhered both punch outs together and then adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Pyramid Pals Easter Treat Box

Posted on March 24, 2017March 27, 2017 by Josee

Happy Friday! I've got a fun project to show you today! This cute Easter Treat Box uses the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up's 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. I just love how sparkly this Easter bunny is!

Pyramid Pals Easter Treat Box, Stampin Up, gift idea, Easter bunny

How To Make This Pyramid Pals Easter Treat Box:

For The Main Body:

I started by cutting a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to fit the Big Shot and then I cut the large pyramid piece using the Pyramid Pals Thinlits die. The box was adhered together using Tear & Tape Adhesive. You will want to leave one side of the box open to insert some treats, or add them and continue adhering.

To make the Ears:

Cut Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper with the ear die Pyramid Pals Thinlits. Then the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper was used to cut the inside of the ears by using the same 'ear' die and just trimming down to fit inside the Dazzling Diamond ear pieces. I used Glue Dots to adhere the pieces together and then to the body.

Pyramid Pals Easter Treat Box, Stampin Up, gift idea, Easter bunny

To Make the Face:

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the 'eyes' using the dot of the exclamation point stamp from the Letters For You stamp set and a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I could have used the eye stamp from the Playful Pals stamp set, but it wasn't handy, so I got creative. 🙂 Then, I cut the eyes out using the Pyramid Pals Thinlits.

The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper was also used to die cut the nose and bow tie using the peices from the Pyramid Pals Thinlits dies.

Some Basic Black Baker's Twine was folded and then cut at the ends to make the whiskers. Then all the pieces were adhered to the pyramid shape using Glue Dots and a Fine Tip Glue Pen.

As a final touch, I added some of the tiny Pearls Basics Jewels to finish off the eyes. I also used the Basic Black marker to add in a mouth and some teeth.

Stampin' Up Stamps:

Letters For You- 141968 (I used one of the dots for the eyes); you could also use the eye stamp from the Playful Pals stamp set-140506

Stampin' Up Paper:

Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper-135315, Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper-140550 , Whisper White-100730

Stampin' Up Ink:

Balloon Bouquet Punch Easter Card

Posted on March 23, 2017March 27, 2017 by Josee

Good Morning! Today's project is an Easter card I put together using products from Stampin' Up's 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. Can you believe the Easter eggs on this stamped Easter card were made using the Balloon Bouquet Punch! So cute and simple!

Balloon Bouquet Punch Easter Card

How To Make This Hand Stamped Card:

I started with a cardbase of Whisper White Thick cardstock. Then I cut a layer of Cucumber Crush cardstock to add to the card front, but first I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to score a simple frame around the cardstock edge.

Then, the Balloon Bouquet Punch was used to punch 4 balloons from Whisper White cardstock. I then used Paper Snips to trim the balloon tip off to create the egg shape. Each egg was stamped with the dotted stamp from the Homemade For You stamp set in different ink colors. I used Cucumber Crush, Peekaboo Peach,Watermelon Wonder and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' ink pads.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Greetings stamp set and then die cut it using the Bunch of Banners Framelits dies. The banner was then adhered to the cardfront.

Then punched eggs were added to the card front leaving a bit of room for the ribbon bow- 3 were adhered using SNAIL Adhesive and one was adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I tied a bow using the Watermelon Wonder Striped Ribbon and added it to the middle of the card.

Stampin' Up Stamps:

Greatest Greetings-140703 wood mount, 140706 clear mount; Homemade For You- 138686 wood, 139444 clear mount;

Stampin' Up Paper:

Whisper White Thick-140272 , Cucumber Crush-138335, Whisper White- 100730

Stampin' Up Ink:
