Stamped Thank You Card

Posted on May 17, 2017May 15, 2017 by Josee

Today's card is a stamped thank you card using the Eastern Palace Suite bundle that is now available! As you showed you with yesterday's card the Eastern Medallions Thinlits can really be experimented with, and as you can see with today's card, the Eastern Beauty stamp set lends itself to lots of experimentation and play too. There are so many fun shapes to make designs with, whether you are creating a background as I did, or a focal point.

Eastern Palace Suite, Stampin Up

How To Make This Hand Stamped Thank You Card:

This card starts with a base of new Tranquil Tide cardstock. Then on a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock I started to stamp the background. With Fresh Fig, Tanquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist ink I started stamping the various designs from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

The 'a note for you' stamp from the Eastern Beauty stamp set was curved before putting it on the acrylic block and stamping with the Lemon Lime Twist ink. This layer was then adhered to the cardbase.

Before adding the strip of Fresh Fig cardstock to the cardfront, a piece of Eastern Vinyl Sticker border was cut to size and added.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, the greeting, frame and design was stamped with Fresh Fig, Tanquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist ink and then cut with the matching die from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits dies. A mat piece was cut from Tranquil Tide cardstock using the same die and both were adhered together as shown using SNAIL adhesive and then added to the cardfront using Stampin' Dimensionals.
