Here’s one of the cards we made at my Christmas Card Extravaganza last week! This was one of the favourites by far! Unfortunetely, the picture doesn’t do it justice at all…I wish it would have shown you how "SPARKLY" it is in person. I used Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on the snowflakes…and the glitter just adds such a SPARKLE! (I found a version of the card online and CASED it, but, can’t remember from where. If this is your card, please let me know and I’ll gladly give you credit)
Looking for some directions to make this card?
- Fold your pink pirouette cardstock in half with bone folder to create the base of your card. Stamp “Season’s Greetings” with Silver Encore ink in the lower right corner. Set aside to dry.
- Tear your second piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock about one inch off from the bottom (as seen in picture). This is the front layer of your card.
- Stamp the Snowflakes with Versamark ink on the layer of Pink Pirouette cardstock. Cover with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder, tap off excess and with heating tool emboss the snowflakes. (Tip: Look for the glitter to melt into the paper)
- Take the Dauber to apply White ink around the edges of the “layer” of Pink Pirouette cardstock. Use a flicking motion on all 4 edges.
- Wrap one piece of Pink Pirouette ribbon around layer and adhere to back. Tie your second piece of ribbon in a knot around the first ribbon.
6. Adhere the layer to the base of the card with the torn side at the bottom as shown in the picture.
