Driving By with my Van

I paired the Driving By stamp set with the New Horizons Designer Series Paper for this card. The first card I made was a pretty simple one and the second one was stepped up a little!

Dimensions

  • Soft Succulent: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White:  3/4″ x 1 1/2″

Dimensions

  • Calypso Coral: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White:  3/4″ x 2 1/4″

Directions

    1. Cut the designer paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ making sure that you are keeping the parts of the paper that you like the best. Adhere it to the card base.
    2. Stamp the trees on scrap paper, then cut them out using the die. Adhere the tree to the card.
    3. Stamp the van on a scrap piece of Shimmery White cardstock using Memento Black Ink.
    4. Colour the van using Stampin’ Blends.  Add it to the card using Dimensionals.
    5. Stamp the greeting on the cardstock and add it to the card using Dimensionals.
    6. Add gems.

Silhouette Card with Grassy Grove

The New Horizons 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper is a beautiful pack of paper that look great for scenery cards. The dies that are in the Grassy Grove bundle create beautiful silhouettes and I love how the two go together. I had a tough time deciding which designer paper to pick…they are all so pretty!

Dimensions

  • Blackberry Bliss: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″  and  3/4″ x 1 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Directions

  1. Adhere the designer paper to the card base.
  2. Cut out scenery scene from Basic Black cardstock using the die.  Use dimensionals to add the scene to the card. (I used a lot of dimensionals and cut them small to place them under the trees)
  3. Use the deer dies to cut out the deer. Adhere them to the card, tuck their feet below the scenery.
  4. Stamp the greeting on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Versamark. Sprinkle white embossing powder on it, tap off the excess and heat set with the Heat Tool. Adhere it to the card using Dimensionals.

You Matter To Me

The card I made for today is using the All Together Collection. These products are already starting to have low inventory so if you like them, make sure you get them while they’re still available!

Dimensions

  • Pale Papaya: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″  and  2 7/8″ x 4″ scallop rectangle
  • Designer Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Colour the Designer Paper with the Dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend. Adhere the Designer Paper to the Basic White cardstock.
  2. Place the ribbon on top of the 2 layers and adhere them to the card base. Wrap a smaller piece of ribbon around and tie it in a knot. Adhere all to the card.
  3. Cut out the scallop rectangle using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  4. Stamp the greetings on the rectangle using Pale Papaya ink.
  5.  Stamp the hands on Shimmery White cardstock using Memento black ink. Cut them out using the matching die.
  6. Colour the hands using Natural Tones Blends and the nails with Magenta Madness Blend. Add the hands to the card using Dimensionals.

2 simple All Together cards

Today, I thought I’d share 2 simple cards I made using the new Here Together Bundle and the All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper. These items are available while supplies last or until May (whichever comes first).

I am in love with this designer paper, the black & white designs can be used with so many different projects as is or can be coloured to match cardstock.
ALL TOGETHER 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

CARD 1

Dimensions

  • Basic White: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Real Red: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic Black: 3/16″ x 5 1/4″

Directions

  1. Stamp hearts randomly on the Real Red cardstock using the matching ink pad.
  2. Adhere the designer paper on the Real Red cardstock, then adhere the Basic Black strip just above the designer paper.
  3. Cut out the greeting & hands from Basic White cardstock using the dies. Adhere them to the card.
  4. Cut out the heart from Real Red cardstock using the heart die. Adhere it to the card.

CARD 2

Dimensions

  • Blushing Bride: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″,  scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Circle: approx. 2 3/4″

Directions

  1. Lay the ribbon on top of the designer paper and adhere the ends to the back. Wrap a smaller piece of ribbon around it and tie it in a knot. Adhere the layer to the card base.
  2. Cut out the greeting, the circle and the heart using their dies.
  3. Adhere the greeting to the circle with Multipurpose glue and the heart with a dimensional.
  4. Add the cut out circle to the card using dimensionals.
