Cheerful Daisies

Measurements:

  • Crushed Curry: 5 ½” x 8 ½”  and  3” x 4 ¼”
  • Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Designer Paper: 3 ¾” x 5”

Instructions:

  1. Place the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White cardstock in the Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to add texture.
  2. Wrap the Baker’s Twine around the cardstock 3 times and adhere the ends to the back of the cardstock. Take a smaller piece of twine and tie it in a knot around the 3 pieces.
  3. Adhere the cardstock to the card front.
  4. Adhere the Designer Paper to the 3 ¾” x 5” Crushed Curry cardstock and adhere the layers to the card.
  5. Cut out 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock using the triple flower die.
  6. Colour the centers using a dauber with Crushed Curry ink.
  7. Cut off the leaves from the triple flower.
  8. Take 1 of the triple flowers apart. Adhere the individual flowers on top of the other piece using Dimensionals. Adhere all with Dimensionals.
  9. Stamp the greeting on the bottom of a piece of cardstock. Cut out close to the greeting. Add the greeting to the card using Dimensionals.

  • Misc. – Water Painters (151298); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (150673); Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:
• Daffodil Delight: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” AND 1” x 2”
• Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼”
• Designer Paper: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”

Instructions:

  1. Use the tree die to cut out the middle of the Basic White cardstock.
  2. Adhere the designer paper to the back of the cut out Basic White cardstock. Adhere both to the card base.
  3. Stamp the bird image on a piece of Watercolor Paper using Stazon ink.
  4. Watercolor the top of the bird using a Water Painter with a light wash of Crumb Cake ink. Let dry a bit and do another layer with a bit more ink on the brush. Lastly, go back with even more ink on the brush to add more colour to the wings.
    (Tip: I press the ink pad on a stamping block, then mix what I need with a bit of water)
  5. Watercolor using the Daffodil Delight in a similar manner as step #4.
  6. Stamp the tree branch using Crumb Cake ink on its matching cardstock. Cut out using its coordinating die. Adhere the branch to the card.
  7. Add the bird to the card using Dimensionals.
  8. Stamp the greeting on the 1” x 2” Daffodil Delight cardstock using the matching ink pad. Add the layer to the card using Dimensionals.
  9. Tie a piece of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine into a bow and add it to the greeting layer using a Glue Dot. (Tip: Roll the glue dot in your fingers before using so that it fits better behind the twine.)

Measurements:

  • Mango Melody: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
  • Shimmery White: 4” x 5 ¼”
  • Basic White: approx. 1 ¼” x 4”

Instructions:

  1. Press the Versamark Ink Pad on the Rays of Light stamp then stamp the Shimmery White cardstock. Make sure you press the stamp firmly all over to ensure that the full stamp transfers to the cardstock.
  2. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder on to the cardstock, tap off excess and use the heat tool to melt the powder.
  3. Use the Blending Brush with Pumpkin Pie ink on the embossed cardstock in a circular motion starting in the middle and blending outward.
  4. Next, use the Mango Melody ink with the Blending Brush to add colour towards the outside in a circular motion.
  5. Lastly use the Daffodil Delight ink pad with the Blending Brush to add colour to the outside of the cardstock. Adhere the cardstock to the card base.
  6. Cut out a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Basic Borders die.
  7. Stamp the greeting on the bottom right using the Memento Black ink. Adhere it to the bottom of the cardstock.
  8. Stamp the Elephant using Memento Black ink on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock. Colour it using Stampin’ Blends. Remove a bit of colour using the Color Lifter to add a bit more contrast. Cut out the elephant using the coordinating die. Add to the card using Dimensionals.
  9. Stamp the butterfly on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock. Colour using the Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend. Cut out the butterfly using the coordinating die. Add it to the card using Dimensionals.
