Hand Stamped Cards with Josee Smuck-Stampin' Up! Canada Demonstrator

Today (Nov. 16) is the Last Day for the Seasonal Sale!!!

One of the joys of being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is getting products early! A few days ago we got to see the Spring Mini Catalogue that starts in January and the January/February Sale-A-Bration brochure and they do not disappoint! Last Saturday was our “On Stage Online Event for Demonstrators” where they showcased so many new stamping projects and new products!

Sadly, I missed it because my chronic neck pain flared up and I literally was in bed for about 20hours. It really sucked! Thankfully, the replay has now been posted for us and I’ll get to see the presentations this weekend when I have time! I did check out the new catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promo items plus I placed my order!!!! My new products will be here next Tuesday!

The Bee My Valentine stamp set is one that we were able to pre-order in advance of our On Stage Event. Stampin’ Up demonstrated 2 different cards and I made them with my own twist on them! Aren’t these bees super cute?!

DIRECTIONS

1. Score the 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Pool Party Cardstock at 4-1/4″ and fold it in half to create the card base.
2. Align the 3-3/4″ x 1-3/4″  yellow plaid Designer Series Paper along the top of the 3-3/4″ x 5″ Basic White Cardstock panel and adhere using Stampin’ SEAL.
3. Align the 3-3/4″ x 3″  honeycomb Bee Mine  Bee Mine Designer Series Paper along the bottom of the Basic White Cardstock panel and adhere using Stampin’ SEAL.
4. Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Use Stampin’ SEAL to adhere the Pool Party strip to cover the gap between the Designer Series Paper pieces.
5. Adhere the panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. On 2″ x 4″ Basic White Cardstock, stamp the bee body in Daffodil Delight ink and the stripes, face, and antennae in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
7. Stamp the wing outline in Pool Party ink and punch out all the bee pieces using the Bee Builder Punch. Colour the wings using Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
8. Adhere the antennae and wings to the back of the bee body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere the completed bee to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
9. Using the Take Your Pick tool, apply five Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers embellishments to the card front.

CARD 2

DIRECTIONS

1. Score the 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 4-1/4″ and fold it in half to create the card base.
2. On the 3-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ Daffodil Delight Cardstock panel, stamp the honeycomb image randomly in Daffodil Delight ink.
3. Offset the 2-1/4″ x 3″ flower-pattern Bee Mine Designer Series Paper over the 2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ heart-pattern Bee Mine Designer Series Paper. Adhere them together with Stampin’ SEAL, then adhere them to the Daffodil Delight Cardstock panel with Stampin’ SEAL.
4. Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the panel under the Designer Series Paper pieces.
5. Adhere the Daffodil Delight Cardstock panel to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. On 2″ x 5″  Basic White Cardstock, stamp the bee body in Daffodil Delight ink and the stripes, face, and antennae in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
7. stamp the bee stripes, two separate wing outlines, and the antennae in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Punch out the pieces using the Bee Builder Punch. Stamp the bee’s face in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Colour the wings using Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.
8. Adhere the antennae and wings to the back of the bee body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere the completed bee to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
9. Apply the Adhesive-Backed Heart embellishment to the card front.
