Posted on May 4, 2016May 2, 2016 by Josee

Hello!

Welcome back to the blog!  One of the the stamps sets that will be retiring soon is this Talented Trio stamp set– it is a super cute set to have, especially if you make cards for young girls. I love the details on this one with the ballerina outfit.

Talented Trio, Stampin Up, hand stamped, birthday card

How To Make It:

First, stamp the ballerina from Talented Trio, the ribbon she’s holding, and both sentiments on Shimmer White card stock as shown. Then, stamp the ballerina only on a scrap piece of Glimmer paper and cut out the dress using Paper Snips. Tie the Dotted Lace Trim around the front of the dress and make a knot.

Color the dress stamped on Shimmer White with a Watermelon Wonder Stampin' Write marker, color the girl with a Pink Pirouette Stampin' Write marker. For the hair, use a So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write markers and blend them together a little to make her hair color.

Attach the Glimmer Paper dress to the top of the image with Glue Dots. Then, attach the Dotten Lace Trim going across this layer, by using Fast Fuse on the back of both sides of the card stock. Tie two layers of the Dotted Lace Trim and trim to make a thick knot on the front of the card. Attach and layer the rest of the layers together as shown.

Paper:
