Happy Birthday Birdie

Dimensions

• Petal Pink: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Pecan Pie: 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Designer Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

1. Adhere the Pecan Pie cardstock to the card.
2. Adhere the Designer Paper to the card.
3. Stamp the birdhouse on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink. Colour the birdhouse as shown above. When colouring is done, use the White Watercolor Pencil to add highlights and the Color Lifter to pull some colour away to add dimension.
4. Cut out the Basic Black pedestal using the die. Adhere it to the birdhouse, then adhere the birdhouse/pedestal to the card.
5. Stamp the bird on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink. Colour it with Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends for the wings & body and the Dark Daffodil Delight Blend for the beak and feet. Use the die to cut out the bird and add it to the card using Dimensionals.
6. Cut out 5 Petal Pink flowers, adhere the middle part of each flower to the card. Once glue is dry, pull up the petals and add the In Color Shimmer Gems.
7. Use the leaf die to cut out a small leaf using Old Olive cardstock. Adhere it to the card under the bird’s beak.
8. Stamp the greeting on a 1/4″ strip of Basic White cardstock using Memento black ink. Cut the “happy” and “birthday” apart and add them to the card using Dimensionals.
