Eat, Drink and Be Cozy

When I made this card, I decided to make it so it can be used at any time of the year. I used neutral colours to ensure that it could easily be used for a feminine or masculine card.

Dimensions 

  • Soft Suede: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • Very Vanilla: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Crumb Cake: 2″ x (approx)  5″

Directions

  1. Run the 2″ Crumb Cake through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Use a sponge wedge to add some Crumb Cake ink to the cardstock. Adhere to the card on an angle and use a Paper Trimmer to cut edges that overhang the Very Vanilla Cardstock, then adhere both to the card.
  2. Adhere the piece from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (gold side down) to the card.
    (To adhere, I placed the piece upside down and used a sponge wedge to tap on some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.)
  3. Stamp the greeting on to a piece of Very Vanilla and punch out using a 1 1/2″ Circle Punch.
  4. Cut out the Stitched Circle with the die in the bundle using Soft Suede cardstock. Adhere the Very Vanilla circle to the Soft Suede circle.
  5. Loop a piece of ribbon in the back of the circles and tap down. Add to the card using dimensionals.
  6. Stamp the inside of the coffee cup with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Stamp the outline of the cup using Soft Suede ink. Cut out using the matching die. Add the cup to the card using a dimensional.
  7. Place a Champagne Rhinestone Jewel to the middle of the cup. (The rhinestones come with glue dots behind them)

3 Happy Pineapples

Pineapples with sweet happy faces just make me SMILE!

Measurements:

  • Mango Melody 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black 5” x 3 3/4”
  • Whisper White 4 7/8” x 3 5/8”

Instructions:

  1. Stamp sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink in the bottom right corner of the Whisper White cardstock layer.
  2. Stamp three pineapples with Mango Melody ink. Add Granny Apple Green crowns and smiley face with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
  3. Adhere Whisper White cardstock layer to Basic Black layer and then Mango Melody card base.
  4. Tie a bow with black & white twine and add to middle pineapple with Mini Glue Dot.
  5. Embellish with Artistry Blooms Sequins using the Take Your Pick Tool

Peace on Earth

Do you ever make a card and just aren’t sure if you like it?! That’s how I feel about this card. I’m just not sure if I like it, but, I thought I’d share it anyhow. What do you think?

Dimensions

  • Real Red Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Mossy Meadow: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper: 3″ x 5 1/4″
  • Stitched Nested Label die:  2″ x 3 1/2″

Directions

  1. Adhere designer paper to the Mossy Meadow layer. Add ribbon to the layers and adhere ends to the back. Adhere to the card.
  2. Use the Stitched Nested Label die to cut out the tag.
  3. Use the die cuts to cut out the “Peace” word and layer. Adhere both together, then adhere both to the tag. Add to the card using Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp “ON EARTH” on Whisper White cardstock using Real Red ink. Cut out using Paper Snips, the add to the card using mini dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the leaves on Whisper White using Mossy Meadow ink. Cut out using Paper Snips and add to the card by adhering the parts that will be over the tag and adding Mini Dimensionals to the parts that will go outside the tag.

Today’s card is super simple to make, hope you like it! 🙂

Dimensions

  • Real Red: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Granny Apple Green:  3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
  • Designer Paper: 3″ x 4 1/4″

 

Directions

  1. Run the Whisper White cardstock through a die-cut machine using the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhere to the card using Seal Adhesive.
  2. Colour the ribbon using the Dark Granny Apple Green blends marker.
  3. Adhere the Designer Paper to the Granny Apple Green cardstock. Adhere ends of the ribbon to the back and use another piece to tie a knot around it. Adhere the layer to the card.
  4. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock.
  5. Use the Stampin’ Blends to colour the letters starting with the darkest colour at the bottom. Cut layer out with the die-cut.
  6. Colour 2 pearls with the dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend, then add to the card.

A Little Christmas Wish

Here’s another cute Gnome card for you! I used my favourite embossing folder (Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) on the front. This folder adds a bit more visual interest to cardstock and I’ve been using it a lot.

Dimensions

  • Granny Apple Green: 4 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Real Red: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Circle Die: 2 3/8″

Directions:

  1. Cut out a 2 3/8″ circle from the upper half of the Real Red Cardstock.
  2. Add the cardstock in the Subtle Embossing folder, then run it through the die-cut machine to add texture.
  3. Stamp the treehouse with Crumb Cake ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that is bigger than the cut-out circle. Adhere layer to the card.
  4. Adhere the Real Red cardstock to the card using Stampin’ Seal. (Don’t use adhesive close to the cut out circle as you need to tuck the man-gnome under).
  5. Stamp the 2 gnomes with Memento Black ink on to a piece of Shimmery White cardstock.
  6. Colour gnomes using Stampin’ Blends then cut out using Paper Snips. Add both to the card using dimensionals.
  7. Stamp the greeting on to a piece of Real Red scrap paper using Memento ink. Punch out using the Classic Label Punch, then add to the card using Dimensionals.
