You’re My Type card

Posted on February 21, 2012February 21, 2012 by Josee

Happy Tuesday Friends!

3 more days till the moving truck and we are slowly progressing. My husband is doing most of the packing as I try to keep up the fun with Stampin' Up!

I was asked a few questions the other day that I thought I'd answer here:

Q: What if I have to place an order with you after you move?
A: I can take orders from anyone in Canada. You can place your order through my online store: www.stampingjo.com/store or simply send me an email at josee@stampingjo.com and I can take of you that way! Your order will be sent directly to your door and you'll pay the same price as if I was local.

Q: Can I schedule a party with you when you return to Ottawa?
A: Absolutely!!! I'll be ready to have parties again as soon as I get there. I won't have a stamp room for a bit, so I'll bring my supplies to you! Remember, March is still Sale-A-Bration and a GREAT time to plan a stamping party!

Today's card was one we made at my card classes this month. I got the idea from someone on Stampin' Connection (our private demonstrator forum and gallery)…thanks goodness we have this resource we can use to share ideas! There are literally thousands of ideas!!

(I can't remember who orginally made the card, if it's you…email me and I'll gladly give you credit!)

It's hard to tell from the picture but we used the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing folder on the card. Did you know that you can get that folder for FREE as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion?!

Many people have missed it…it's on the bottom of page 16 of the Sale-A-bration brochure.

Elementary Elegance card by Susan Elise Morton

Posted on February 20, 2012 by Josee

Hi friends! So this is moving week…life has been a bit crazy around here trying to get organized. We don't have a house yet to move into…so we will be temporarily moving in with my parents. I honestly thought by now we would have found one…but, apparently I'm supposed to go through a lesson in patience instead. The moving truck will arrive on Friday and if all goes well we will begin our drive back to Ottawa that night.

We are going to start packing my stamp room tomorrow…it makes me sad to see all my "toys" have to go into boxes.

Since I won't be able to do much stamping this next week and a half, I'm going to WOW you with creations made my some of my stamping friends.

Today's card was made by Susan Elise Morton who is part of the Advisory Board with me this year.

Susan use the Elementary Elegance stamp set on page 15 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure that you can pick FREE if you spend $60 or more.

She also used the beautiful Mocha Morning Specialty Paper found on page 237 of the regular catalogue!

Item # 122366
12 sheets total: 2 each of 2 single-sided designs with black flocking (4 sheets total) and 2 sheets each of 4 double-sided designs (8 sheets total). Patterns include metallic ink. Colors include Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla.
