SNEEK PEAK #3

Here’s my last sneek peak this week of the Penciled Designer Paper that will launch in the Annual Catalogue in May.

Dimensions

  • Parakeet Party: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Directions

  1. Colour the Designer Paper using Stampin’ Blends.
  2. Colour the ribbon with the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend then place it on the Designer Paper and adhere the ends to the back. Adhere the layer to the card.
  3. Take a smaller piece of the ribbon, colour it and tie it in a knot around the first ribbon.
  4. Use 2 pieces of silver Simply Elegant Trim and tie them in a bow around the knotted ribbon.
  5. Stamp the greeting using Parakeet Party ink pad then cut it out using the Beautiful Shapes Die.
  6. Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere the greeting to the card.
  7. Add Rhinestone Gems.

SNEEK PEAK #2

Here’s another card using the Penciled Designer Paper coming out in the Annual Catalogue starting May 3rd.

Dimensions

  • Orchid Oasis: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Directions

  1. Colour the Desginer Paper using Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends. Take the Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blend and tap it on a hard surface (eg. ruler) to create specks on the paper.
  2. Add Wink of Stella on top of the flowers to add shimmer.
  3. Colour the ribbon with the Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blend then place it on the Designer Paper and adhere the ends to the back. Adhere the layer to the card.
  4. Stamp the greeting using the Orchid Oasis ink pad then cut it out using the Beautiful Shapes die.
  5. Adhere silver Simply Elegant Trim to the back of the greeting. Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere the greeting to the card.
  6. Add Rhinestone Gems.

Friend Like You

SNEEK PEAK #1

I am addicted to this new Penciled Designer Paper that is in the Annual Catalogue launching in May!!! All the patterns are black & white and double sided. You can use the papers as is or colour them in multiple ways!! I love the variability that this paper gives you!

Dimensions

  • Starry Sky: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 1/2″ strip for greeting

Directions

  1. Place the Whisper White cardstock into the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and roll it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  2. Wrap the silver Simply Elegant Trim around the Whisper White cardstock three times and adhere the ends to the back of the cardstock. Adhere the layer to the card.
  3. Take another piece of Simply Elegant Trim and tie it in a bow around the first trim.
  4. Cut out the partial flower image from the Perfectly  Penciled Designer Paper with Paper Snips.
  5. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour the images. Add Wink of Stella to the images to add shimmer.
  6. Place Dimensionals to the back of the coloured piece then add it to the card.
  7. Place a piece of Washi Tape (or tape) on the greeting stamp to cover the part that you do not want to ink up. Stamp the first part of the greeting on the 1/2″ strip, then cut near the end of the words. Wash stamp and repeat for the second part of the greeting. Add greetings to the card using dimensionals.

Oceanfront Backgrounds

Dimensions

  • Pool Party: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pear Pizzazz: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″

Directions

  1. Stamp the top layer of the background with Pool Party ink, the middle part with Pear Pizzaz and the bottom part with Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the bottom layer twice so that it extends a bit.
  2. Stamp the 2 types of grass with Old Olive ink.
  3. Stamp the greeting from the new stamp set Good Feelings (coming out in the new Annual Catalogue) using Memento ink.
  4. Use the corner of the Memento ink to ink up the birds from the In the Moments stamp set, then stamp the birds on the card.
  5. Use the Crumb Cake ink to stamp the 2 rocks on a piece of scrap Basic White cardstock. For the single rock, I wanted some white space all around it so I took some washi tape to cover the bigger rock on the stamp. Once stamped, cut out using Paper Snips. Add them to the card using Dimensionals.

Flowering Tulips

Today, I have 2 fun Tulip cards to share! I’m looking forward to seeing the first real tulip outside!! 🙂

Dimensions

• Pale Papaya Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
•  Basic White Cardstock: 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
•  Basic White Cardstock: 7/8″ x 2-1/2″
•  Old Olive Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
•  Pale Papaya Cardstock: 3″ x 3″
•  White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon: 3″

Directions

1. Fold the Pale Papaya 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (14 x 21.6 cm) Cardstock in half to create the card base.
2. Stamp the x image in Flirty Flamingo ink on the front of the card base at top right and bottom left.
3. Stamp the tulip leaves and stems in Old Olive ink on the 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ Old Olive Cardstock. Die cut using the Tulips Dies and Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
4. Die cut two tulips from the Pale Papaya 3″ x 3″ Cardstock. Stamp the petal image in Pale Papaya ink on the back. Fold so the stamped petal is visible.
5. Adhere the leaves, stems and tulips to the Basic White (7/8″ x 2-1/2″) Cardstock.
6. Adhere the White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon over the tulips.
7. Stamp the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink on the Basic White 7/8″ x 2-1/2″ Cardstock. Adhere over ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the assembled Basic White 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Cardstock to the center of the card base.

Measurements

•   Old Olive Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
•  Basic White Cardstock: 3″ x 5″
• Basic White Cardstock: 1-3/4″ x 2-3/8″
• Basic White Cardstock: 2″ x 4″
• White 3/4″  Frayed Ribbon: 6-1/2″

Directions

1. Fold the Old Olive 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″  Cardstock in half to create the card base.
2. On the Basic White 3″ x 5″ Cardstock
• Stamp the tulip stems in Old Olive ink so they criss-cross (you’ll use these items as your guide for stamping the head of your flowers, so place them accordingly).
• Stamp the tulips in Flirty Flamingo ink on the upper right and bottom left areas, then stamp the tulip centres in Pale Papaya Classic ink
• Stamp the remaining tulips in Pale Papaya ink on the upper left and bottom right areas.
• Stamp the leaves in Old Olive ink.
3. Stamp two leaves in Old Olive ink and a tulip in Pale Papaya ink on the Basic White 2″ x 4″  Cardstock. Die cut the images and adhere to
the centre of the Basic White 3″ x 5″  Cardstock.
4. Adhere the Basic White 3″ x 5″  Cardstock to the folded Old Olive card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals®.
5. Fold the White 3/4″  Frayed Ribbon over the Basic White piece, then adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. Stamp the sentiment in Pale Papaya ink on the Basic White 1-3/4″ x 2-3/8″ cardstock. Cut a V shape at the bottom, then adhere using
Stampin’ Dimensionals.
