I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day yesterday! I can't wait to show you today's card!  This card uses the NEW Watercolor Wings on page 75 of the new Annual Catalogue! It's a wonderful new stamp set, especially if you already have the Butterfly Basics stamp set and matching Butterfly Thinlits (or if you were thinking about getting them!). With the NEW coordinating Bold Butterfly Framelits you will have a complete set of matching stamps and dies!

I started with a base of Watermelon Wonder, which I embossed with the NEW Fluttering Textured Embossing Folder. 

Then I cut some of the NEW Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper with the NEW Lots of Labels Framelits in varying sizes. I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White with Watermelon Wonder ink and then cut that with the Lots of Labels Framelits as well. 

I tied a piece of Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace ribbon onto one of the label cutouts and adhered the label layers to the embossed background. 

Then I stamped the butterfly from Watercolor Wings onto Vellum cardstock using Watermelon Wonder, So Saffron and Tuxedo Black. I heat set the stamped image and then cut it out using the Bold Butterfly Framelit die and used a few glue dots to adhere it to the card base.

Hello! Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends!

As I mentioned yesterday, I've got another cute card to show you using the NEW You're Sublime stamp set! This camping trailer image totally reminds me of summer! 

This card starts with a Watermelon Wonder card base and then a layer of Smoky Slate. On Whisper White I used the tree and clouds from Sprinkles of Life and made a scene for my trailer 🙂 I used Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe for the trees, Smoky Slate for the clouds and I sponged a bit of Soft Sky to fill in the sky. 

I cut and tore some strips of Corrugated Kraft paper for the ground. The trailer was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock and colored with a Smoky Slate and Watermelon Wonder Stampin' Write marker. Then I used a Circle Framelit die to cut out the trailer, cutting off the bottom in a straight line just up to the tire on each side, then I cut around the tire. 

The trailer was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to the scene and I added some Smoky Slate Chevron ribbon before adhering it all to the card base. To finish off the card, I added a Metal Rimmed Pearl to the tire.

Thanks for stopping by today! I got to play a little more with the NEW stamp set: You're Sublime. Such super cute images in this set! I showed you this one here– which I thought turned out cute, but now I'm not sure which one I think is cuter! 😉 

I started this card with a base of Cucumber Crush, then I added a layer of Whisper White. On top of that, I added a layer of Soft Sky, which I embossed with the Chevron Textured Embossing Folder and then I rubbed the Soft Sky ink pad over the embossing to highlight the 'ripples'. 

Then, on a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, I stamped the frog with Tuxedo Black ink and once that was dry I 'watercolored' it with a Cucumber Crush Stampin' Write marker, an Aqua Painter and alcohol. (I rub the marker on an acrylic block and use the Aqua Painter to pick up some alcohol & then some of the marker from the block and start coloring. I explain this technique a bit here) I used the marker directly on the frog's spots to make them darker. I then cut out the frog and added some round Epoxy Accent Stickers to his eyes.

For the lily pad, I used the NEW Cotton Paper Assortment! I cut an oval shape from the Cucumber Crush cotton paper, cut a little snippet out with some scissors and then crumpled it. 

For the lily pad flower, I actually decided to use the NEW Medium Star punch to cut out three stars from the Crushed Curry cotton paper, I crumpled each piece and then used glue dots to layer them to make the flower. I added a Pearl to the center to finish it off.
